Just leave it how the draw falls, no sorting by country.
It's only 7 races after all, it's not going to take a lot of time to actually race.
And when it's all said and done 80%- 90% of people are most likely going to be based in Europe anyway.
As soon as you have you list of seeded pilots just number them 1 to 64 and I'll get the randomizer to sort them into 8 groups of 8.
We can do that early on if you wish since the names would be pretty much known by all already, it's up to you.
It could cause some added excitement for all unseeded pilots wondering [ or Dreading
] which group they will get drawn in and who they could possibly be racing against.
Then, when we have 256 total, just give every unseeded pilot a number from 1 to 192 and I'll run it with those to give 8 groups of 24.
I then add the seeded & unseeded back together again into 8 groups of 32.
So it would look like so.
Kestrel group 8 Seed 24 Unseed
Duck group 8 Seed 24 Unseed
Chook group 8 Seed 24 Unseed
etc
Then I run it again for each group of 32 to see who races who.
Or, since most of the sorting has been done already you could do 8 final group draws at the WIPEOUT HOME MUSEUM for added tension to see who races who first up.
But bare in mind that's still 256 names to be written down, drawn and be called out, not a job I would envy to be honest.
You could just give each pilot a number 1-32 in each group[ let them know in advance what their number is ] and use the randomizer to draw 16 X 2 to see who races who, then just call out the numbers .
So you could do it over two days, drawn into groups then number each pilot in that group on the 18th, final group draw on 19th.
By the way.
I've got the first new reply/entry from the Aus/NZ Playstation forum thread I put up yesterday, so could you please add.
