Absolutely YES.+1:+
God I miss that at the starting of a race.
Is it a licensing problem?
Or a decision made long ago and since never contemplated resurrecting.
WE MISS YOU CURLY!:(

3...2...1...Go!
I could just imagine that in HD, like it could be on a set of giant holographic displays just at the start, add just a tad bit of picture glitchy-ness for good measure.

THING THAT I'VE EXPECT BUT DID NOT ENDS IN DLC:
staten park: i've to admit that i'm pretty surprised about that, i think it would be a must, since was stated by Colin as his favourite
Another case of false memories !
I never said that
I like Staten park but its not my favourite, not by a long way

Edit
Tracks were selected for a variety of reasons
The Designers compiled a list of tracks we were happy with to be HD-ified
The Artists took the list and looked at the ones they wanted to HDify (based on the designers list)
We then discussed things, throw in a few other factors and came out with the ones we have
Also bare in mind the HD physics make the tracks feel slightly different in HD than on the psp, Talons at Phantom can be a real test, and modesto can hurt

But out of all the 40 odd tracks to choose from TALON ?
By your comments I doubt it will be the TALON's we all yawn about.;)

I think we started with a list of 7 or 8 and narrowed it down. We wanted a balance of tracks in terms of play style, visual style, difficulty, track features, which worked well in various modes, and ensure we picks ones we liked :D etc etc

you know, in time, you could just release all the tracks ;) lol Of course I suppose it's a matter of market penetration and consumer interest to warrant Sony giving you guys the money and resources for each update.

Why do we need new weapons? The only weapons change we should have is making the mines/missiles/rockets LESS unfathomably hindering so they don't draw you to a 5 second stand-still.
H3avyM3tal
3rd June 2009, 02:21 PM
You know the strange thing about that hindering effect? Sometimes, if I keep the accel button pressed when I get hit hard, I come to a full stop, but if I release it and then press it again, that full stop effect is gone. It only happenes sometimes though.
Would like to get an answer about this, if possible :)

**** there, you wait til Tech Da Ra, that track is a bumpy bitch through the middle part. BR frenzy hot spot.
I think we started with a list of 7 or 8 and narrowed it down. We wanted a balance of tracks in terms of play style, visual style, difficulty, track features, which worked well in various modes, and ensure we picks ones we liked :D etc etc
I had a strong feeling that The Amphusiem was going to be on the DLC, such a nicely combined track. And that Camber on that corner that took 2 days to create also.
Tech Da Ra was a surprise, but still is a good one.

It seems that way when you look at what is slated.
Twisty V straights. and what is already available in HD.
A NO BRAINER when you really look into it.
A good compromise/ Balance IMHO.
Cheers.

The Amphusiem, Tech Da Ra, Talons Junction, Metropia and Moa Therma are going to be the hot ones for Eliminator mode events. Vertica is prime for this mode. But most Pulse tracks work extremely well in Eliminator Mode.

It'd be good if you could get points for knocking people off the track such as in tech de ra and sol 2. Such detection exists in unreal tournament, could this happen in wipeout hd?

The feel of tracks has been quite different in HD compared to their PSP counterparts. I expect this to be the same for the expansion tracks. Therefore I'll reserve my opinion of the tracks for later.
I hated Outpost 7 though. It'll be interesting to see how it pans out.

Just put in the Pure UMD to see what Modesto Heights was like again, ****ing hate that track bad, i hate that chicane bit through the tunnel, damn it!
One of these others could of done one better;

:D Thx Colin and Paul :D
This really looks superb! I'm more and more fascinated by the HD-era of W'O''.
And I'm so glad that I was totally wrong about the (possible) network issues playing online - as we already found out: playing with 8 stations at one internet access is no problem at all - no lag!!!!
The pictures look so damn brilliant - and so does the video. Amazing craft designs, a very interesting 180°-turn, e-li-mi-na-tor is back, additional zones...
Makes me so happy in advance that I'll play it very often this weekend :D :D :D
THIS MUST BE CELEBRATED!!!
Now where's my Loops Of Fury CD from the Chem Bros? Great coincidence!!! :+
Sch@dows
3rd June 2009, 10:32 PM
I think the 180° thing in the trrailer is a new after effect of the leeching weapon. It don't disconnect anymore if the opponent get too far away. It seems that now, it will put pull the opponent by reversing it's course (work both ways when you are getting too far away with the "leech beam" still attached).
Talon Junction is not one of the best track but is still a peasant one and easy one. I would have prefere fort gale ou de konstruct, but well ... more tracks sont I can't complain n_n
I wasn't very interested in zone (didn't get those trophies) either in the psp volumes or in HD, but now there are opponents it will be a totally different story. It seems that in zone battle, the zone ships differs from one team to another ?
release date please !!!!

Was on 123Klan last night. That track reminds me of LBP for some reason. Nice.
As for Modesto Height, well there isnt an avatar here in the selection screen to illustrate how i feel about that track.....
Tech Da Ra is nice. Looking forward to play that track in Eliminator mode. That track is going to cause alot of people to break controllers i think with that massive open corner on the track, love it;)

So that's how it works
And you get the most points by hurting people. Which might seem easy if you’re in the back of the pack, since most of the weapons in wipEout HD shoot forward, leaving those in first place to only use the mines. Except that in “Eliminator,” you can hit the L1 button, which will flip your ship around so you can blast anyone who had been behind you. Of course, this means you’re also going to wrong way, but if that’s what you have to do to hurt people, then so be it.

Hope this also means we can finally launch quakes backwards (again).
I guess turning around is for tactical reasons. Just using your backview and then firing a weapon (which will go backwards like in... uhm... 2097?) would not be very fair to the others I guess...

Your Gamespy Id!!! now!!! (mine is PoRRasturvaT, see unreal.fr man!)
and yes, the titan pack is an awesome pack of 16 maps, few modes and mut, absolutely free!
but with that game it's a bit special, as anyone got the Editor, there are many many free content made by the community, and with ther Mapping Contest, they reward best mappers, and that add much things to the game.
not possible with Wipeout, it's too hard to custom the game! (appart from skins...), and tracks are such a huge amount of Data, polys etc... leave this to the pros!

Yet another boring E3 footage of WipEout HD Fury;
http://www.viddler.com/explore/PSUniverse/videos/369/
Why wasn't there anyone at E3 who took a full-coverage of WipEout HD Fury?
I don't get it. Where are all the freaks gone? :|
Further, look at this! :bomb
// E3 Impressions: Wipeout HD Fury, Eric Layman
{
Wipeout HD Fury was quite the unexpected find. Word of mouth
was nonexistent, it didn’t show at Sony’s press conference,
and it could only be found at one lonely kiosk on the show
floor. Furthermore, I had to go through four Sony reps before
I could locate someone who could tell me anything about the
game. But I got some details, eventually. ...
} [Ref (http://www.digitalchumps.com/e3-2009-coverage/130-e3-2009-overview/3176-impressions-wipeout-hd-fury.html)]
Something is really wrong with all the PR stuff considering WipEout. :brickwall
// From the same reference we get the following information
{
... On the fact sheet side of things, Fury, rather than a standalone game,
is a mission pack for Wipeout HD. When downloaded, the initial title
screen splits into two, and you’re free to select Fury as an almost
entirely separate game.
}
Okeeey....
Darkdrium777

"There's something wrong with PR for WipEout"
ORLY?
We've been saying that from the release of WipEout HD on the PSN. It's nothing new, but sadly Sony still hasn't got the message. I really do not understand how they can expect to sell more than 100 DLC copies (This forum) with ZERO communication.
It's E3 for God's sake, pass the good news around?
Instead we get two previews from two obscure websites, I hope Sony doesn't intend on reaching the target audience with this.
Get your act together boys and girls, Liverpool, SCEE, SCEA, whatever. You've got one of the best games on the system but you don't talk about it at all.

... Get your act together boys and girls, Liverpool, SCEE, SCEA, whatever. You've got one of the best games on the system but you don't talk about it at all. ...
Yeah really strange. I can't believe that SL favors the way it is market at
the moment. There must be a serious issue between SCEE and SL in some
way. Nine month of work and they got 'only one lonely kiosk on the show
floor'? C'mon. Wassup?
Some things are rather strange if we put them in perspective;
- WipEout HD has a superior quality
- WipEout HD cost almost nothing
- WipEout HD / Fury has virtually no PR

For having played a few games at Micromania Game Show in France in 2007, I must admit it's not such an easy task.
Putting aside the fact that you have to play standing up with a lot of people watching you, talking, and stuff like that, the real issue is the several other games next to me which didn't let me listen to the sound of my game. Braking while hearing a accelerating sound, etc.
Well, in those videos, the players sucked but, they aren't helped at all ^_~

Why wasn't there anyone at E3 who took a full-coverage of WipEout HD Fury?
I don't get it. Where are all the freaks gone? :|
Further, look at this! :bomb
// E3 Impressions: Wipeout HD Fury, Eric Layman
{
{
... On the fact sheet side of things, Fury, rather than a standalone game,
is a mission pack for Wipeout HD. When downloaded, the initial title
screen splits into two, and you’re free to select Fury as an almost
entirely separate game.

xD
If you mean with 'pretty easy' that one can get into higher zones
rather easily (compared to other tracks), then you are right. But in
general I would say that those tracks which are supposed to be easy,
like for example ANULPHA PASS, are in reality very hard!
Why? Well, your ZONE score is the sum of #zones, #perfect zones,
#perfect laps, #successful BRs, etc.. Now consider that your are
running 120 zones on ANULPHA PASS. 120 zones equals 20 minutes
of full concentration! It's not like with SPEED LAP were you get another
try "20" seconds after you messed-up your current one. Running
into higher zones requires you to be able to hold up over a long period of
time. And as everybody knows, near the end of each run it becomes rather
stressing in keeping everything together. AP looks easy in doing ZONE,
but it isn't. Quite the contray is the case. The effort I've put into AP to
get to zone 125 was 100x larger than, for example, to get to zone 63 on
CHENGHOU PROJECT. CP is more difficult in its track layout, right, but it
is mentally a lot easier than AP, because on CP (with respect to AP)
you're almost carrying no load around. Just get the steering right and
there you go. ;)

You might be proven wrong here. Just take this note over here (http://wipeoutzone.com/forum/showpost.php?p=128703&postcount=77).
Would make much more sense if it was a completely separated game ...
Let me quote myself;
...
// From the same reference we get the following information
{
... When downloaded, the initial title screen splits into two, and
you’re free to select Fury as an almost entirely separate game. ...
}
which leads me to an interesting consideration. Some of you have asked
how the leaderboard of HD will match up with Fury. Let's consider an
example. Guess they have removed the ability of doing s-b-s playing with
Fury, then almost all SL Top10 records would be unbeatable once and for
all. Right? But what if we have two separated leaderboards, one for HD
and one for Fury? I get the feeling that upon selecting Fury from the
initial title screen all your new records will register on another global
leaderboard, a Fury global leaderboard! If you look at it, this is a method
to get rid of some issues with HD. Point is, you can't reset the leaderboard
of HD anymore, because too many ppl have spent a lot of effort into it. If
true, then HD is going to freeze the way it is once and for all (some minor
bug fixes now and then). Hence, if you wanna beat an old HD record, or if
you simply wanna play under the old rules, then you start up WipEout HD
from the initial start screen instead of Fury.
Pure speculations! What do you think?
Avenger2197
12th June 2009, 04:17 AM
That would make the most sense to me at least. It would solve the "possible" extra stats problem in regards to the ship's performance.;)
I'm not so keen on possibly having to choose between two seperate entities in one game though. I think the transition should be smooth and flawless. What I mean is, the game should load up as normal with either the look of the "old" HD, or the new Fury menu, depending on what you chose in the options screen. The Fury campaign would only be an extension of the old one, with events after the Meltdown grid in Campaign mode. The ships could be used in ANY Racebox event you chose, with the limitation being in Campaign for Fury.(i.e. Old ships can be used for every event, and Fury ships only in Fury) But, even then, one could argue that letting people use Fury ships in the regular campaign would make sense, in that they would keep playing.
Dunno, just my $0.02
ElectroBolt
12th June 2009, 07:28 AM
After watching the "gameplay 2" vid', I'd assume that players will have the choice between the HD and the Fury campaign, and that the new game modes will be available through the existing racebox menu.
With regards to the tweaked stats, I'm still unsure whether they were actually tweaked or improved (my impression si that they were improved, lookin at the vid), which makes quite a difference. In case they were improved, this might be the option SL chose instead of offering a new, faster speed class... I'm only assuming!

12th June 2009, 07:39 AM
Problem Solver, that speculation of yours in post 369 about how seperate leaderboards could work with Fury and new ships makes a lot of sense. It could be a way to get rid of glitches, bugs and have the benefits of a scoreboard reset, but without killing everyone`s old times and hard work. I would like to see that happen, and floated the idea somewhere, but I don`t think it will happen. I would love to be wrong though.
ProblemSolver
14th June 2009, 04:50 PM
@lunar: Additionally, a clean leaderboard would emphasis the competition for
quite awhile, esp. for those new to WipEout. However, I wouldn't prefere to
see Fury separated from HD. SL should clean up the leaderboards from all the
glitched records and tightly integrate the new crafts into the game. Imagine
there will be another DLC one year later. We would face the same problem.
IDReaper
15th June 2009, 03:19 AM
As far as I can tell I think they have it set up where if you choose Fury, it is basically the entire WOHD game(With the exception of campaign) with Fury content thrown over top. Hopefully they will both clean up the leaderboards and intergrate the new crafts as well. Perhaps a special denotation for time set while using Fury, like say for example:
Sol 2, Phantom
IDReaper Goteki45 "Fury" 1:49.89
Would something like this work?
lunar
15th June 2009, 08:09 AM
Maybe there`s an issue of whether the glitched records can actually be cleaned up in HD or whether it would be too hard work to do it case by case. There are a lot now. So a kind of leaderboard reset in Fury and seperate Fury leaderboards would be the best way possibly. Also it might not all happen again in the future if the bugs that caused the HD glitches were identified and squashed in Fury. We`ve surely dug out any glitches in HD by now. Anyway I`m speculating madly here :beer
Avenger2197
15th June 2009, 12:36 PM
Like I said before, it would make the most sense to me(seperate bouards that is) as it would start from a clean slate. As far as fixing current records, I wish they would. I can't imagine it being terribly hard at all, i mean look at what they've accomplished within 9 months. Although, and I'm no expert, wouldn't the possibility of having to shut down the online servers temporarily be very difficult to pull off. I mean, the possibility of SL actually having the servers in Liverpool, right next to them, might not be a reality. London HQ for SCEE might not be down with turning them off for a few hours, and the process may be too time intensive to be realized.:?
maybe someone at SL could enlighten us as to the status of record table fixes? Even if the answer is no.
ProblemSolver
16th June 2009, 07:58 PM
@IDReaper: Yeah it's possible. The new ships can share a common
ID tag, such that we can have the old records (minus the glitches)
and the new records within one table.
@lunar: true dat is
My problem is that it would be too easy for SL to start anew. I don't
want to see that they drop HD (with respect to Fury) with all its glitches,
leaderboards issues, or whatsoever and move on to the next iteration
without doing anything for all those who have spent a lot of time into HD.
@Avenger2197: Yeah right! I never get why they can't removed all the
*obvious* glitched records from all the leaderboards. Most of them are
obvious and also well known. What's the problem? :|
Avenger2197
17th June 2009, 01:59 AM
Woah. hey! I'm not disagreeing with you Problemsolver, not AT ALL. If I had the option for "clean" boards, or "dirty" ones, I'd choose clean all the way.:nod
Maybe SL could hire a "Time-Cop" like our very own Tomahawk. (would be kind of funny if it was Zico, don't you think?) I'd love to see the boards as they were before 1.30, so people who deserved the top slots had them. No question about that.
I'll reiterate my previous statement: I can't imagine a Leaderboard clean-up to be all that hard to do. It would basically be bug fixing in a sense anyway. Everyone would be happier that way. Sl would be happy for all those playing, everybody who plays could rest easy knowing that glitched times couldn't enter the rankings, and the game lives on the way it was supposed to.:)
NeilSmith
17th June 2009, 06:42 AM
Doing a clean swipe of the leaderboard is NOT the way to go. Some people have put alot of work down to get thoose records and I don't think it would be fair for them to have to start all over again.
I can see the frustration with the scores that shouldn't be on the boards, but there has to be some kind of way to remove the glitched scores or the scores that was earned in a dishonest way (by using glitches in the game) instead of wiping the whole database? I mean c'mon, does SL Studio have to reset the scoreboard every time a glitched\bugged record shows up?
The first thing they need to do is make sure no one are able to use glitches in the game. Only after then can they start doing something about the scores.
Any official response to this issue would be greatly appretiated as this is causing a great deal of frustration for alot of us.
Darkdrium777

17th June 2009, 09:13 AM
I'm all very new to this but I'm a former trackmania united player and there were glitched times too, and they were able to clean the boards. With trackmania it was easy to see them as you had a ghost. So does WOHD so I think it won't be too much of a hard work to clean the board by looking at the ghosts if they're submitted along with the times.
Implement a validation system with that shouldn't be complicated then WDYT?

I would rather go for "real world" sourroundings and keep the layout only.
The Omega Pack was ok at its time as there were already a lot of real world tracks. But compared to Pure, WOHD has very little environments. Because of that, more realistic sourroundings would probably fit better into the game as it now is and will be with Fury.

You aren't even joking. That will not be allowed. It's going to stay safely inside the little PSP box ;P
The only advantage with the Pure Triakis ship is that it doesnt stop for five years after hitting a mine in HD gameplay:brickwall Then trying to jump start your ship on the mag strip on moa. In Pure you hit something, pause for a brief moment then you are up and running again.

Has anyone figured out how the unlockables on the ship select screen are supposed to work? All we see is that the two hexagons in the middle are the old and new models of the AG Systems craft. ... I agree with Problem Solver that the arrival of multiplayer Zone has been talked about for a long time and is fascinating. And it sounds a very deep and tactical experience which at crazy speeds will destroy brain cells faster than anything we`ve known before I suspect. :pirate ...
xD Yeah right.
But I got a bad feeling for Zone Battle coz lag may mess up this mode if SL
hasn't implemented a good prediction where a craft (an oppenent) goes next
until the next packages comes in. Imagine playing Zone Battle at SUPERSONIC
speed. Network latency may spoil this mode. And what about the so-called
Zone barriers? They can't even be predicted. I'm curious about how Zone
Battle will work out at high speeds.

The one thing i know is if i play in a online race where are you in, i know the one who i won't win EVER.
In any case, it will be hard that mode in online, reaching super phantom with people hitting you all time is a real challenge.
By the way: Anything about the release date? July? August? I expect the first days of July.

Seraphim1982
25th June 2009, 07:06 AM
Yes that would make sense if we were watching this on TV like a sport such as F1 racing but it's a game and needs to maintain balance for the players.
I'm all for the new ship designs but the improved stats should come with a cost say for example if a ship has improved speed/thrust it should lose a similar amount out of handling/shield.
The way it's going at the moment the old ships will fall into disuse.
Avenger2197
25th June 2009, 01:34 PM
^^I agree with the above post.:)
I think it was Colin or Paul(maybe:?) who said the ship stats were somewhat negligible, meaning they had been balanced with the old ships. It wouldn't really make much sense that they would release DLC that would gimp the original ships as they are.
crawdad62
25th June 2009, 01:39 PM
Yeah I don't see how they could "enhance" the stats of the new ships in an expansion pack. Unless the ships couldn't be used in HD which I don't see happening. However I would think they'd have something tweaked from the HD ships. I'm curious to whether they're closely aligned with their HD counterparts or a complete rewrite?
Darkdrium777

Perhaps the bonus stats play a role in only Eliminator, in this case it doesn't matter at all how balanced the ships are.

We clearly saw during the french footage (single race and zone battle) that the ships have enhanced stats (differences in red).
Perhaps those skins are not available for online use?Even if it was the case, the offline time trials would be uploaded to the score board.
Darkdrium777
25th June 2009, 02:25 PM
Yes I know but what I mean is those red bonuses don't activate for the normal races/times where the times are recorded, only in modes like eliminator and zone battle, where I don't think anything is recorded to a leaderboard. Don't know if my idea is clear enough... :?
crawdad62
25th June 2009, 02:29 PM
I don't think I've seen the video. So what you're saying is there's say an Icarus that shows the original stat lines and then the enhancement to those stats being represented in a red bar? I could see that being the case... only in Eliminator or Zone Battle. Otherwise it reverts to the original Icarus stats.

look from 00:35 to 00:42.
We can clearly see 2 stats lines from the AG-SYS. As the player switch between normal and "concept" ship, the red part of the stats disappears.
It is a single race event.
PS : as previously said, you can switch between teams with Left-Right, and switch bewteen skins with Up-Down. So, it seems there are 3 color patterns for the concept ships.
The following zone battle event is only played with "concept" ships (transparent parts), and the stats are all full.
crawdad62
25th June 2009, 03:07 PM
Thanks Sch@dows. Interesting. I still don't see how they'd let you compete in the original HD tracks with ships that exceed the original ships performance parameters with other pilots that don't have the expansion pack. Of course that would make a pretty good case for people to purchase said expansion pack;)

About the enhanced stats.
@Connavar: I'm always amazed looking at the textured version of each
track. xD Perhaps I should start TTing around. Up to my taste the game
could be a bit faster, but unfortunately the crafts can't cope with higher
speeds. I hope there will be an DLC called Velocity where each craft is
enhanced with some insights drawn from the ZONE craft. Well, I think this
is already done to some extend if you look at the Zone Battle version of
each craft. I can tell you, the ZONE craft as well as the ZONE mode with
all its statistics are the prototypes for a high velocity WipEout, possibly
via an DLC. :) ...

Has the question of what if someone doesn't buy the pack been asked? Is this Wipeout Pulse round 2? Is a split online community on the horizon?
Well if people can see games online, try to join then get a message to say they can`t join because they haven`t bought the content then this split will have happened. As we saw with Pulse that`s a great way to alienate your customers. You`ve either got to have total separation of HD and HD Fury as games online, or make it so everyone downloads everything in an update and can still join games with the Fury content even if they haven`t bought it.
I don`t know about the faster ships.... seems kind of unfair but then the really fast pilots are probably OCD enough to do all their times again with the new ships. Maybe it`s just seen as a great way of marketing the pack to have faster ships. Who wants to be left behind with slower ships?
If there is a situation with faster ships available for TT and Speed Lap then there ought to be all-new scoreboards perhaps.

I think we will see players that don't like the new machines that much and run online races that only use the "Classic" ships (if there's a filter for that). I don't think SCEA is stupid enough to shoot itself in the foot like it did with Pulse.

I still feel the new skins should not have increased stats, otherwise mixing them up with original skins is a waste of time. I wanted a nicer variety of ships on the grid.
Should instead let them race at super phantom or zen speed.
I still see making the original skins obsolete is stupid. how will those with fury compete with those without?
RJ O'Connell

I don't think SCEA is stupid enough to shoot itself in the foot like it did with Pulse.
I`m sure the Fury DLC will go to America, but I don`t think Sony`s feet are in a position where they can completely relax. I can easily imagine a situation where lots of players can`t get into Fury-only games, get the "you don`t have this content" message but don`t want to buy it or can`t afford it or it`s too expensive, so the people with Fury content don`t host games with it because they don`t get many people taking part, so the Fury content might as well not exist for online. Then people give up with Wipeout HD generally because it`s too much hassle getting a game together. I think this is what could happen if it`s not handled well, but we`ll have to wait and see about it suppose.
Reezy
25th June 2009, 08:41 PM
Perhaps all the fury content online races will be highlighted in red so it will be easy to see which games you can join. I don't see it as much of a problem.
Eg. in Everybody's golf there are DLC courses, and if you don't have the course you can't join the tournament, its not very off putting at all. If anything it persuades people to buy the content because they can see that they are missing out on the action.
lunar
25th June 2009, 09:37 PM
I do hope you`re right. I just worry because the Pulse DLC drove a wedge in the online play - but then it was very expensive to buy, difficult to buy for some people, and not an impulse purchase at all. It made things confusing online. But Clap Hanz do always seem to know what they`re doing, so if that is the model you could be right, I hope you are :)
Reezy
25th June 2009, 10:03 PM
Also theres the fact that Wipeout is a PSN only purchase, so 100% of the consumer base has bought off PSN before. Therefore it is much more likely people will buy Fury too.
Sch@dows
26th June 2009, 07:11 AM
I think Paul Tweedle already said on this forum how it will work. As described by someone, the player will have an error message when trying to enter a online event using Fury's content.
But since tracks and ships can ben modified after players have joined the event, I don't know if that message will be based on the game version of the host (so even with a Classic event the message will be displayed) or if you need to choose "Allow/Disallow Fury content" when creating an event. Otherwise, people could enter when the event has HD Classic only parameters, and get the message only when the race will start which will be very annoying for those who waited for nothing (I don't care since I will bought Fury >_<).

I hope it comes out soon, otherwise I might not be able to get it before going on vacation to some place with no internet :( It would be great if I could bring Fury with me.

Ok this carrot dangling is getting a bit silly now.
Time to release Fury SL, I got some pictures of the Queen that I want to give to you in exchange for it.

I hope that's one of the things Plasma does... 100 damage. And quake more than the measly 15 damage. Like 40 or something, it's a ****ing quake after all.

If it does they need to make it more like the 2097 plasma where it was more like firing a super powerful pin than a big ball like it is now. IMHO the plasma is too easy to aim at the moment.
Rear locks with missiles wouldn't be too bad either.

Why rear lock when you can press R1 (Or whatever look back is set at) to flip around?

Was thinking for the normal races too. How often have you been in the lead by a fraction of a second begging to get a bomb or mines to help shake off the guy snapping at your heels to only get a missile, rockets or quake?

Honestly, never. I rely more on my piloting skills, and when/if the guy is really annoying me I'll slow down and shoot him with that rocket, missile or quake I have. :p
Whenever I do get mines or bomb I usually hate it because I've just ruined the other guy's race.
Adding rear lock to missiles would make it even more OP than rockets currently are, which is a lot.
