But like said Kanar and DP, it's my opinion, that's all, after if people playing low classes wants to be as considered as phantom fastest pilots by some elitists like me, it's naive, as said Jav. But i can appreciate good pilots on all classes (and all modes). Wipeout players should only care about having fun with the game, not looking at who's in front and who's behind on leaderboards.
And Saturn, yes it's a lot a matter of ego, pilots here must accept their weakenesses, not trying to find excuses when they lose or because their WR are less acclaimed as others. So DP, you lose against a pilot better than you at the moment of your match, because he follows the rules, and it was a good tactic to do it. The winner of the WIPEOUT HD CUP will totally deserve his win and will be able to be proud of his achievement !

(just remember what i said to Oryx on his interview at the begining of the cup "Leungbok: It can also be another challenger there’s a lot of fast pilots in the cup like Wotan or Luna, in my opinion the most motivated and the best tactician will win !")
