Sorry mate your wrong. I have the right to celebrate whatever I want, in the manner I want, for the reasons I want. I can do as I please I'm not a hypocrite because I'm not religious. It's very simple really.

I know it can work Thats why I do something nice on valentines day. I just dont "celebrate" it as such, because you can find love any day of the week I still know how to have a good time and enjoy myself lol.

im religous..i believe in God Allah Jesus and i celebrate xmas but it has no religeous meaning to me its about giving and recieving and indulgance and giving the love..

Jesus wasnt even born on 25th of december the romans moved his birthday in a stream lining exercise to cut down and public celebrations and public spending.i pretty sure santa claus was turkish so we should be using a palm tree for xmas..
i do understand where OBH come from as i do same myself..

I agree you can do as you please, it doesn't effect me and it makes you happy! what i was getting at was its hypocriticle to say happy xmas... but like i said before we all do it so theres no argument.

Vallentine's Day has more effect on singles. Couples are having great time everyday. Single at Vallentine's Day is just like "Hmmm another Vallentine's Day alone... Great." lol

In past years I've been like that. This year it passed me by without a care. I didn't even realise until it was almost over that it even was Valentine's day.

@DJ Techno - I don't get out of the house much, but I do talk to girls. I mostly just can't be bothered though, to be honest. My position on relationships has changed a lot over the years. I really like girls, but I just like hanging out with them stress free. Anything more is so much hassle. I may well end up on my own with a cat or dog keeping my company in the evenings, and I'm not sure I'd actually mind it too much.

This is way late but I enjoyed my first ever valentine's together with my girlfriend ^_^. She cooked for me =OO it was awesome! I got her a dwarf hamster cause she told me she wanted one Then we spent the evening together at my place.

It really has been a crazy week though, my girlfriend has crohn's disease and was in the hospital the night before valentines day. On Wednesday she passed out from her painkillers(percocet) and fell down a flight of stairs and I found her unconscious with school faculty and police around her. Scariest day of my life by far she is okay though, and I stayed with her both times till she was released. She really does so much for me and I'm grateful to have her. We have had a good valentine's week(yeah we agreed to make it valentine's week xD) though, hoping she has a speedy recovery.

Default A day early, but I won't be around tomorrow.

I know some people get really lonely on Valentine's day, but it's really just a good day to take the mick and have a bit of a laugh. So for anyone who's down in the dumps, here's a stupid poem I wrote on the train home about the thing I love more than anything else in the world...tomato soup.

Feel free to join in and we can all help each other through the loneliness, a.k.a. happy fun times.

    Tom♥to Soup

I'm not a fan of Valentine's day, been here too many times
No wine, no chocolates, no bouquet, no lovey dovey rhymes

Not a single message comes, on twitter or facebook
Thought a cute girl eyed me up....was just an evil look

But I won't let this stupid day, throw me through a loop
I'll crack on and I'll eat my lunch, a nice big bowl of soup

But oh dear, St. Valentine, you really are a witch
This soup reminds me of my pain, you bastard hairy *****

Just look at it, all shiny red, like the lips I could be kissing
All these thoughts now flood my head, of the love i still am missing

It's smell is sweet and tasty, just like a girl's perfume
The fragrance hanging in the air, like feelings that still loom

Those water droplets round the bowl, like tears that I once cried
From heartbreak upon heartbreak..oh well at least I've tried

And in the end it's not too bad, soup's healthy and it's warm
And when tomorrow swings around things will be back to norm

Who knows, next year it's possible, things might be a lot better
But then this day is still in Feb, so I can count on shitty weather

And if I get **** all next year, I'll think of the good times
Not least this stupid poem I wrote, about a can of Heinz.

    Great poem Saturn.

Fortunately, I won't be spending Valentine's Day alone. I'll have my trusty PS3. She knows how to treat me right.

My Valentine's Day is gonna be... dull... for me. I'll be pretty much by myself, with no one to be my Valentine. *sob*

I'm not doing anything tonight because of work commitments, but my fiance and I are going out for a meal tomorrow night. We always celebrate Valentine's day, even if it's a week or so either side of Feb 14th.

And for all those people who bang on about the commercialism and how it's the antithesis of real romance, give it a rest. It's a perfect excuse to do something nice with your partner and spoil them a bit. If you spend the other 364 days of the year showering your partner with gifts, serenading them from passing cars and getting their name tattooed on your face, well good luck to you. Most of us don't, so Valentine's day's a gentle poke in the ribs to raise your game for the day

Personally, I don't like special days.
It just adds too much pressure.
I try to live and enjoy every day of life the same and not be guided by some special days created by someone 10 years or 10 millions years before...
Many people feel alone at Christmas or VD just for this reason...

Cheer-up, most people are alone anyways in this world.
