Big congrats to the three podium guys.
Print out Kanar's post and put it above your PC monitor.
World champion, second and third place world champion. Pretty damn cool.

By the way, enjoy it whilst you can, cus I'll be taking those titles off you in the HD cup.

I'm disappointed and slightly angry at the possibility that the outcome of this cup was decided outside of the matches it was supposed to be decided in, but I will make no effort to understand as I cannot understand it anyways.

    Here's your last update:

Congratulations to everyone who played in this cup, it's a great show of community.
Even though I feel it's kind of "half full", but that's my opinion :/

Hey Darkdrium I think you got the names mixed up, Luxoflux is the Gold medalist, although it was nice to see what the board would look like with my name on top of it xD.

Sorry about being slow on the videos guys, I swear I'll get them up soon.

Damn you are right. Sorry about that. I guess I was too angry and got it over with too quickly by copy/pasting the names in order from top to bottom.
I'll fix that in a second.

arrhhh come on guys, I know it's love & hate there but the man gave us, shared with us a fantastic show so far, he came late to the wo hd party but filled the gap so quickly. We can't blame it, let's just keep in mind the good moments we shared wth him and all together. Can't wait for the next wipeout myself lol.

Agree - plus he had my negativity to deal with after our match. That was probably off-putting in itself. But Ace3 did see out the main tournament. We can't forget all the cool videos and events Ace3 has organised as well. I think we've all had moments where we've given up on this game for one reason or another. We always come back for more eventually though. Ace3 probably will too.

What a big effort it is to just spend half an hour to race 6 tracks on wipeout, and right after jump on gt5 ! Just a last proof of respect to kanar and the wipeout community

    Definitely
While I agree with Leungbok that the timing wasnt great, Ace has contributed enough to warrant a positive responce from us all

I hope he still competes in the big one, it would be a shame to see him drop out. Not least considering he put the effort in to make a trailer for us all.

    Cool

I'm really looking forward to the final vids here, and thanks for all the awesome ones already posted!
Ace3Cube, if you read this, cheers! I hope nobody keeps nattering about this to you, because everybody gets a case of Wipeout Burnout (no, that's not a new game guys!) if they play it enough. Life gets busy and suddenly everything is all STRESS! Just go take a break until the HD cup, LOL! No, I'm kidding-if you're not eager to play wipEout, don't do it. As much as we're all fanatic about it, in the end it's still just a game. When you really love something you'll come back to it, we'll all be eager to race you when you do. Especially me, since you haven't kicked my butt yet. Cheers!

Hey guys just wanted to cogratulate Luxo and ID for making it the the finals and of course to Luxoflux for winning. Really well done mate , congrats
Also i wanted to apologise on behalf of myself and Ace3 for not delivering a runners-up round. Having spoke to him recently, i found we both felt the same during the last rounds of the cup and i myself can say i found it quite stressful. Please don't hate on us guys, we love you all, this site and the game its self. I hope you can only understand and except our apologies.

Yeah, unfortunatly the best name ever (Luxoflux) was already taken on youtube and I had serious trouble remembering the password of my previous account So after a looooooong brainstorming session this came out.

Also wanted to say that all the vids have been uploaded to my channel. Really no point in watching race 4, 5 and 6 cause you'll only see me crashing and flying into bombs Last race was pretty epic though

    Great videos mate !
IDReaper really showed what he was all about on his track choices, I cant help but think he picked a couple of tracks that you either dont like, or were rusty on? Ubermall Rev & Modesto mainly
The outcome could have had a very different if not for some crucial moments! -- Some amply timed boosts / autopilots you got during the final race, but personally I think you winning that intense battle on Metropia Reverse was absolutely key.

    Congratulations all round!
    Long live the king!
