Awesome set-up, awesome board. Good job!

But I'm slightly irritated by the cup's name, shouldn't it read
    WipEout HD Cup (capital E)?

Thx kanar! I'm able to follow ... For me it will be interesting to see if there are some skilled and openminded +eliminator pilots around in Krestel. Most (all?) of the high skilled racers are normally not present (or run away) in those races.

@Jav: You're right in terms of 'flow' when one is in classic racing mode. Dull, well, that hurts I might use this term with respect to ZB ... ups, a weak spot ... maybe

The board is superb, just a question though. Why have you got such a big image for the finalist part of it, can it be resized?

The Falcon group is looking a bit empty of confirmed pilots!

I think Darkdrium let some spaces in case we would like to add stuff or something like that. And yeah hope everyone will realise soon they have to confirm their registration to definitely enter the cup. I'll make a massive reminder sunday, feel free to take your Raptor functions btw kgb, by maybe accelerating the registration rate.

I made the whole thing so that all eight groups could feature in one image. I arbitrarily decided that the board would be 4000x2000 in resolution, with each group's board being 1000x500.
The finalists part right now is basically the center part of the huge 4000x2000 board, so it's 2000x2000.
I could make a smaller version for sure for the mini-board to link to instead of the center because it's only eight players at this point.
But when all is said and done I think people will like to show off the big board and say "Look mom, I won the whole thing!"

Yep, I thought that was the reason . It's just that going from the particular groups which fit the computer screen to one that I need to move about to see didn't feel right to me. Not being picky though, it's a fantastic thing of beauty .

@Kanar: I shall begin with my Raptor duties tomorrow and contact anyone that hasn't replied to you and get to make some new friends including the good Administrator himself . I'll definitely have to make a new account for some of them though.

I was still unsure about this (even only 10 minutes ago) after my Avalon Cup debacle, but seeing my name on that board has swayed me (because it s). I guess I'll go confirm my entry.

Wow this is turning into one huge piece of work, congrats to everyone involved!

I have one gripe though....although I am very flattered to be amongst the seeded players list, I'm not sure it's right. I've barely played HD in a year and am beyond rusty, and I wasn't even that good to begin with lol. Might be better to give someone else the privellage?

    Just an idea.

Anyway I will confirm myself via ps3 this weekend, and look forward to getting my ass whooped

hey Cat, good to see you there! Well the majority of the people who took part to the poll voted for you. And fact is you were deadly at some point of the wipeout hd story lol, and you still have a month to get back in good shape for the cup. The seeded player stuff is not so important anyway, was just to not see something like yeldar vs unctuous or Luna vs XBARNSTERX well you know what I mean first round.

Ah thanks ducky, well it's nice to know it was down to a vote, I just didn't want to give off any false pretences. Last time I played HD (300 years ago) I even had trouble beating the elite AI...I was very disturbed at this

But seeing as this is all for fun I'll just let it go and try my hardest to practice before the cup...wish me luck :/
