You know what else grinded my gears?
Every time I to stop the camera and get back to editing mode in Wings 3D I have to press L... which also happens to be "Select by Edges" to accept the Camera Position... really screwed with selecting faces to bridge them in the making of my Goteki 45!

What's grinding my gears right now is that the 2010 AFL Grand Final has ended in a draw. That means that everyone's got to pack up and come back next week and do it all again.
But what a bloody tense 5 minutes it was before the siren sounded, everybody watching it, wherever they were, would have been on the edge of their seats!

Another thing that grinds mt gears:Taxi waiting times.
Why?It was quite late already(11pm) and I was going back home from a wedding dinner with my family. Taxis keep getting jacked by people.I was really relieved when we finally got a taxi and got home.

Oh. Spoiler. Living in the U.S. on broadcast, I don't get to see the GF till Monday evening. Good thing it was a draw.

Now I get to see two GFs this year! I'm pulling for the Saints, as usual.
AFL is the best football on the planet. In my opinion.

Sorry about that Lance, kinda ruined the suspense there didn't I? Still, hope the Saints can pull off a win, it seems now that it's the whole of Australia (and some parts of the world) vs Collingwood!

Also, Melbourne's been plunged into some sort of chaos following the draw. Everything from flights and accommodation, even to other events and peoples' holidays have been changed or even cancelled because of this. Any Melbournians with any ground gears over this?

To tell you the truth I don't follow AFL, can't wait for the V8's and the Cricket though

What I find hilarious is that Julia Gillard joked about a draw at a breakfast on the day of the final

Unless you mean there's likely to be a replay of the AFL GF rematch on TV, isn't it being held on Saturday?

It's funny; she probably said it specifically in order to not jinx things or have people blame her for whichever outcome

I got to see the first one on Monday night over here, but the network said they wouldn't be showing the second 'final' till the Wednesday after it's played. WTF?
They always show their weekly AFL featured game on Monday night. Till this one.

Anyway, the GF was a great game that I enjoyed watching even though I knew the outcome. I'm still going to really try not to know the end of the final final till I see it.

They are saying that the AFL is going to change the rules for the AFL Grand Final so in future there will always be a result on the day.
Not sure if they will decide to play an extra quarter or first Golden goal in extra time.

Hey! We're grinding gears here. Take your favorite Mans Game outside!

    Now on to the grinding.

The company I (still) work for fired 220 people tuesday. Its been exactly 13 months since the last time the axe came down that hard. Apparently that 125.000.000€ profit for the first 2 quarters isn't enough...

Fekkin greed! I guess the Gordon Gekko anno 2010 isn't pure fantasy

A maintenance engineer came to my flat yesterday to inspect a leak.

Apparently a pipe has burst in the flat upstairs, and water has got into my electric system.... making my flat technically classed as inhabitable, and I have to move..... greeeeeaaaaaaaat

My knee is doing my head in!!!, after three different doctors (one in hospital today) and I must rest for another two weeks!!!!! but I already been off work for three weeks!!!

Well, I know, my boss will not be pleased from me!!

So, good news is, I`m doing a major clean up in my house to exercise my knee to improve strength. And one thing I`m trying to find for nearly five months!!!, that I cannot reveal!

That's harsh. So they're just not doing it at all or they're replacing it with something else similar?

what grinds my gears today is....

political correctness...what a pile of rubbish..i will say what i want..when i want to who i want..political correctness offends me so how can political correctness be politically correct in that case..

cyber scum...people not being held accountable for their actions..happens so much in todays world where cowardly people can hide behind technology and remain faceless..example is x factor..cheryl cole/tweedy sent home a black girl and sicko's where posting on the web i hope she dies or gets cancer..i would love these people to be publicaly named and shamed..i wonder if they would still stick to their statement they said..ermm i dont think so..

eurostar..walkways are too narrow and people stick their legs out and i trip up and fall down...
