Me and Zoth will be playing our match on Thursday at 2pm.

If I was a betting man I would put money on Tarquin doing well in this, he was unbeatable before .

Sorry Kanar, I would've tried to participate if I were active, this looks like a great tournament

I hardly even get around to turning my PS3 on these days.

no probs Ampli, I'm coming out of retirement myself after a few months. Really hard to find time for gaming sometimes. Ok guys just finished with the psn spamming cup thing, and sorry forgot to add

ROUND 7 IS : SINGLE RACE/RAPIER/WEAPONS ON/ANULPHA PASS FOR EVERYONE, AND BEST OF 7 MEANS IT'S THE FIRST TO REACH 4 WINS (basketball playoffs settings)

no worries mate, you can use any mean necessary, from the post here to the psn pm, guys just report to me as you wish.

MakyuraJT I'm sorry the competition already started, limited to 64 entries like a tennis tournament. But I put you in the waiting list, cos' everything can still happen, like a MIA pilot before starting round 1. I'll keep you tuned.

Ok, so we have one result already, as far as I understood Shapealot showed his muscles ; congrats mate, & Chet keep it up, next time _and with practice_ I'm sure you'll be tough enough for a better result!

MATCH REPORT : Shapealot advances to next round !

Passing. As in skipping a match with Boy.
I got the root canal set for tomorrow morning.
I got my pain n antibiotics today.

But i'll wait on boy to show up.
Why not. I'm the one with the handicap

On the board posted here. I'm on the right n so is the boy..
That's how I saw it and got confused with the arrows pointing

It's not really that hard to understand the board now, if people are familiar with the format. It's actually exactly the same format as was used in the FIFA World Cup this year:
    http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/matches/index.html

Now imagine that repeated three more times below that and it's what we have here. From the top quarter, Spain would be goddess and Holland would be Colonel_G. Spain/goddess would win that quarter and go on to face the winner of the second quarter of the table. The same would happen between the third and fourth quarters of the table. Then the winner of each half is in the ultimate final.

I think the first post of the list after the Home meet-up was the one which confused some, but you've sorted that now kanar, so hopefully anyone who is not familiar with the format can refer to the world cup link above for a good explanation.

Thanks once again for helping me there Saturn, would have been awesome if I had 40h in a day in order to deal with the day at work, take care of my wife, practice my speed laps, play online with my friends, and make a beautiful board for this awesome cup. I had tons of ideas for some funky teasers too, like us dancing at the wipeout museum, hd racing shootings, maybe some Jackass/steve O racing in soap boxes... Argh and this english language. Need some lessons too.

    AVALON CUP BREAKING NEWS :
    - Shapealot advances to next round ! He's the first qualified, and will meet...
    - Kanar or Xtriko, who will do that drunk ... and it will be recorded!

Aaaargh. I'm sorry DP89, seems like there's a misunderstanding there; my fault once again, with all these weird explanations from me everywhere.

It's like the TENNIS US OPEN atm, I mean if you're winning Gsuperpilot, you'll meet the winner of Redscar/Fyue3, and so on 'til one single name will remain from your board (so that we'll have 4 quarter finals with all the boards completed). Hope this time I managed to be clear gah, DP89 & you all guys, sorry for these shameful misunderstandings; this cup could be renamed as "the wipeout cup of death"

Saturn explained the cup following pretty well there, it's exactly like the final FIFA board after preliminary round, with 64 pilots instead of 16 teams.

On a side note, sure, would have been awesome to organize a preliminary round like the FIFA world cup, but I think it would have required way too much implication for everyone; Wipeout is not Call of Duty, so I wanted to stay on a short format, knock-out rounds like tennis, so that we could maybe do that again very soon, with maybe 128 pilots this time

No it was my fault Kanar . I understand how the league works, but didn't really put it down well in my previous post.
