I can hold perfect zones in a row until Mach 1 (60) where I often grase walls which take 1 shield energy. I'd say in the 90's is where I can sometimes smash into the wall.

During the last Avalon I've told Wellington89 that his Vineta K record was
removed from the in-game leaderboard. Now his record is back again. Well, it
seems to be enough to touch the track again to get the score uploaded next
time.

I've updated the rankings in the initial post. One can easily spot all the changes
by clicking the picture. I don't know who Javariko is, but congrats for rank 4 on
Anulpha Pass!

Ah, I tell you, Sebenco Climb Reverse is just awesome. I hope that I can
reach zone 60 there as well.

I moved the posts relating to the Syncopia glitch to a separate thread so that discussion about it can be uninterrupted and not take over the other thread in any way. I think it also deserves its own thread and will draw attention to it for anyone who may otherwise miss it and who may be able to help recreate it.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Also, I think having these trophies should be an indication of ones achievements in the game. It's not meant for someone else to get it for you.

And Zone Zeus is doable by anyone. It just takes some time to get it.

I got my platinum pretty early so I've gotten messages from people a few times via PSN offering payment (don't now how much) for getting help with trophies. I never replied to those messages though.

I finally beat zone zeus on Vineta k in cockpit view, came to zone 77!
now I can go try to beat the zeus on othere tracks!
but first I want to get in top 3 of vineta K it will be hard but i have the time

I have a question for you problemsolver: what is the highest zone you got on vineta k, and what is the highest speed you ever got on that track.
can you also fly that fast in cockpit??

@afatsuoM: If you can do him a favor, go for it. Btw; the Zone Zeus trophy is still
glitched.

I for once did the Zone Zeus trophy for two guys who were getting sick of trying
to get this trophy for countless of hours. We wrote each other multiple times,
but in the end they weren't able to do it even after having spent about 100h
only into this one trophy. So I decided to release both of them from their pain
and did the trophy. In the end they offered me anything, i.e. PSN games, money,
girls, just anything. I took nothing.

@LurifaxFlux: Have you reach zone 100 now?

Well, I think you ask for a reason. My current number one record on VK (83 / 62)
is actually the oldest number one record on the leaderborad, dated back to
2009-04-18. It was once a very good record because it was done on WipEout HD
version < 2.0 where the stability and dynamics of the craft weren't as good as
they are today. sHoqa, a good friend of mine, did some runs on VK in Sep. 2009
trying to kick Wellington86 from 2nd and me from 1st place. Well, nothing has
changed for me. xD I joint him on one of his sessions and got interested in
testing the ZONE craft on VK under update 2.10. I did a 82 out of nothing,
second try. From that day on we knew that there is a 90 on the track. But we
haven't touched VK since then. Anyway, it's a pretty cool track.

I think I could run most of my records in cockpit view (bumper view) as well if
not even better in the end, since there are some good advantages to cockpit
view on high speeds, but also some disadvantages.

ZixXer, I hope you will stay sharp. Give your best. I tell you, I would be
very pleased to come back to VK ... for a real reason! I want that feeling
back I had once with Larikum and Wellington86 fighting for the lead on VK.

Haha, now i will try even harder to beat your nr1 spot!

I have played vk along time but at the start not realy intensive, now that I am at the top 10 places I see alot more players that get better scores on that map, so it cool to see a challange to beat all the active players.

Active with respect to players playing normal races, right? Or is there
also another top10 player zoning on VK at the moment? Haven't checked
the leaderboard since a couple of days. Last month there was a lot of
activity on many other tracks.

I'm going to update the rankings on 15th of April again.

I am getting more and more controle in the high speeds, but sometimes when i have 1 crash i lose half my hp and that sucks hard, always have that when i hit the top of that tunnel on the end of the track.....

Changing airbrake sensitivity to 100% really helps.

the thing that makes me die fast is that once i crash in a wall I keep bouncing of to other walls so i can lose half my hp at the high speeds... other then that, i am getting mutch more perfect laps on mach 1

Yeah, hate that x)
It's usually not so easy to get back to your racing line from a hard crash (as opposed to a wall scrape) without bouncing around.
I haven't tried VK but I assume it's worse over there cause of the narrowness.

yes it is bad, but thats why you need to fly perfect till the end.... o wait if you do that there is no end to this game type XD

I need to find a way to disable HUD, if I am at higher zones and i look at my hud i crash, then i lose my hp fast, so if there is no hud i can just keep racing!

That's the best thing you can get out of ZONE. It's such a great feeling
being on a record run, passing all the checkpoints with a record score, and
diving into the final zones with such a high intensity while heading for the
utmost limit. Nothing compares.

@ZixXer: I saw WOMB_RAIDER_-_ around VK last time I checked, second
place or something. So there is some action going on at VK.

I can't currently update the top10 leaderboard in the first post of this
thread, because I can't go online since I'm still on fw 3.15 to keep my
OtherOS. Well, I don't know if I'm going to buy a new PS3 (would be my fourth
one btw). I'm still pissed about Sony and how they have killed the OtherOS
feature. But let me tell you something, the opera ain't over until
the fat lady sings....

Anyway. If someone wanna help, you can make photos of the current top20 of
each track and send those photos over to me via email such that I can update
the rankings. Would be awesome.
