It's a big tv series like band of brothers, made by the same people. I caught the last couple of minutes but I dunno what to make of it yet, but I don't even have sky movies so i suppose it wont matter too much.

The Pacific is a 10 episode mini-series about the Marines in the Solomon Islands among other places.
It stops and starts again, and is quite a bit different from Band of Brothers mainly because historically there were many months between events.
It doesn't really pick up until EP 5, and I think it would of lost a good chunk of it's audience already because of it.

the 1st two episodes were on free view so i wont see anymore of it for ages.

i only think band of brothers is better so far is coz its starts with them learning how to fight and getting to know each other. I still think these 2 episodes were awesome in their own right.

FEISAR - I'm personally not affected by it, but all flights have been cancelled for 2 days now, and there's a lot of angry people who can't go on their holidays.

I read in the newspaper that the last time the volcano in Iceland (I can't pronounce the name, forgive me) erupted in the 1800's, the smoke took 2 years to clear fully. Surely that can't be the case today with the wonders of technology...
    HAHA

Everything is stuff in the means of aircraft transportation atm. You should see what ash doesnt to an aircrafts engine, its sand blasts the **** out of everything, finer than talcum powered, yet courser than sand.

Does this mean that since this volcano erupted and all flights are canceled that Yelder might be stuck in the USA?

    Ahem... Cheeky bugger

In the USA until 5th May then I'm going down to Guatemala for a bit, then down to Peru to trek to Macchu Picchu and that...then going to Buenos Aires for the final stint. Bit of R&R on the beach to finish off my trip. Getting back mid-ish June. Might head off to the Far East and maybe Aus if I'm not completely skint. We'll see.

Off to make my millions in Vegas now, need moar cash

    Yelder
You should find some mug in Vegas who will play you at Wipeout Hd for money.
With a few under the table bets and 12 race tourney, it could have you traveling 1st class for the rest of your trip.

Assegai is a stabbing tool the guys in South Africa use. Been around alot longer than Studio Liverpool. lol. Still would be good to see those guys come back. I felt there was at least one extra expansion pack on Wipeout HD that we all missed out on.
