At SaturnReturn. When copyrighting a name, you have to approach "Companys House" and pay them to do a name check on your chosen name. Say you chose "AirLicker" and wanted to have that copyrighted for use as a clothing label, but you discovered that there was a Lunderette chain called AirLicker for example. That doesnt mean that you vant use the name AirLicker for your clothing label. The copyright will cover a sector of industry only, to protect you from the unfair use of your chosen name/label.

For example, in the naughties, I registered a name for an urban youth magazine and had it copyrighted too. However, at the time there was a British company who had already copyrighted my magazines initials (UGC) for use in another industry. I checked with companys house and was told that the copyright for UGC was available for use in paper media only and got given a list of companys in various industries with the same initials as my UGC copyright. They all had copyrights too, pertaining specifically to their industries...

Copyright law is complicated. I couldnt for example, open a Snooker club and call it Coca-Cola Snooker... some giants are just too big to take on! Coca-Cola have a registered trade mark, meaning that the brand Coca-Cola is exclusive to them, and cannot be used in any other industry around the world, period. Giants indeed

I'm going to be away for the next week, so you won't be seeing me on PS3 for the next seven days. Going on a cruise for spring break!

lawl, Volvo 240. Used to hate them as a kid. Probably because they looked so god-damn stupid...

Anyhoo, you all know the deal with that bloody PS3 error (It only fixes itself)?
Well, this morning, my PSP decided to fix itself, after a few days of the select button not working and the home button not doing anything besides bringing up the 'quit game ' menu. I have no idea what went wrong with it, I have no idea how it fixed itself, all I know is it's back to normal, and I like it that way!

Drove for 8 hours from New York (City) to Niagara Falls this afternoon...really lovely drive with awesome scenery. Sadly my mates we asleep the hole way so they missed it but I shared the experience with some top tunes on my iPod.

Mountains, trees, valleys, steriotypical US towns, sun, blue sky, awesome!

Arse is a bit dead though.

Looking forward to seeing the Falls tomorrow

Niagra eh? Say hello to Canada for me. Something to ponder while you're at the falls - take a really good look at how much water is flowing over the falls - the world uses enough oil each day - to flow over the falls for 1-2 HOURS. Nuckin Futz, eh?

By the way Eureka - Volvo 240 Wagon = Grocery Getter.

That's what we always called em.

Gaz, you guys get those thunderstorms tonight that are currently dropping Quarter-sized hail and 70mph winds in NH?

Yeah they have similar names over here. But they are a bit too rude to post it on this forum.

Not sure if the Blackpool Tower is similar to that really......I suppose in it's own little way it probably is. It was more to satiate your shoe fetish .

Love is only as complicated as the people involved.

Ive got a relative that has been up on the roof observation deck of Two World Trade Center back in the day, over 400 meters up. Higher than the Willis tower observation deck. windy a **** up there. He went in the observation floor in One World Trade Center too, i think that was on the 107th floor. I think he has some photos still somewhere, also has the best photos of midtown Manhattan from the Windows of the World restaurant. Shame it doesnt exists anymore.

I've only ever stood at the base of the WTC, looking up. Think I got a picture of that somewhere... even after so many years it's hard to believe they're gone. Wish I had gone up to the observation deck now. :/

Only big buildings/structures I've been up are the Eiffel Tower, Blackpool Tower and Statue of Liberty. Think I got a crushed/squashed 1p coin somewhere with a picture of the Blackpool Tower on it... you know, from those machines they have around the place there.

Yeah really weird to think they're gone. Looking at a comparison photo from 'then' and now they were MASSIVE. S'all a construction site now - I think they're rebuilding one of them and keeping one footprint as a memorial. Don't quote me on that, it's what the tour guide on the boat said and he was a bit cuckoo
