I'm not really trying to start any kind of argument here, so I hope nobody get's defensive- I just found it kind of ironic that there was such a backlash to what was seemingly a simple little shortcut. It's nowhere near to the degree of some of the other shortcuts people have used in the other Wipeout games (and it's especially insignificant compared to the things people do in other non-Wipeout games for sake of getting low times). I personally don't think it's any different than the shortcut on Chenghou reverse or the one in the Amphiseum (fwd/rev? not sure which) that actually has a trophy for accomplishing. But DP89 sets the ground rules for these challenges, so it's kind of a moot point I guess
