exactly. A kind of extreme online time trial, in order to enhance the use of insane shortcuts eh eh. Jay thank you for your words. You know I feel like dexter sometimes, without the killing habit lol. There should be no more place for videogames in my life normally, gah I feel like an alien sometimes. Seriously this is just a game, but damn I'm loving it. Maybe too much yeah. Probably because it's by so many ways, more than just a game. Lack of promotion. No support from Sony. No ads for the game, but ads IN the game?! Big waste. Hd, and the whole franchise deserve really better. That's why I'm trying to coordinate some kind of special event each month, with more & more difficulties lol. When I'm organizing these events I'm always practicing like hell, trying to catch up the aces but seriously this game is a nightmare. When you're looking at the wipeout hd video thread, you can just say "woaw, THIS is ages of practice"... And well I'm 32, I've a wife, job, projects in the real life... Lol, you know the rest. So when you think about it twice eh eh, well this is just insane. But this is always a real pleasure to share some good moments with the best pilots of the world, & with a lot of good old & new friends.

-Kaori for a japanese ad hoc party session on pure, sunday, dec. 27 (prob around 20h00 gmt).
-MrSmadSmartAlex for a regular PULSE session, saturday, dec. 26 (prob around 21/22h00 gmt).

That could be great Dark_Phantom_89, yes! I'll try to shoot some races myself too. Just to let you know guys, here are the more recent news regarding this upcoming event;

Wipeout Pure (euro version) : Kaori will host some sessions via ad hoc party Jap, sunday dec. 27. Feel free yo post here for registering.

Wipeout Pulse : MrSmadSmartAlex will host some sessions saturday, dec. 26 (around 21/22h00 gmt)

Wipeout HD : I had some bad news from AnE (no internet atm), so his participation is TBC for now. Blackwiggle entered the host crew, he'll try to host some races with us during the week-end. Finally, if I probably couldn't be online during the days (I'll try anyway lol), I'm 90% sure to host 3 good european nights, me & my Icaras (& with some red bull cans too eh eh).

Well, now I've to go back to practice lol. Hope we'll have a good event again, with some blasted records & good laughing moments in the chatbox.

eh eh good question mate. Long time ago, I used to host all day long ... lol.
For the moment, only the nights are confirmed (20h00-->05h00 gmt). I'll see if I can jump in sooner in the day but not sure. I hope the crew could host some sessions in the morning or afternoon. Again guys, this event is all yours, so let me know if you're interested to join the host band; there's nothing much to do except hosting some no-gun races sometimes (and be a good host in the wozone chatbox too lol), & check the ranking tables in the first page of this thread. If there's a new entry, quote it & pm it to me. More potential hosts = more GG races.

Yeah, there's gonna be a whole load of pissed fart drunk pilots, this Avalon, i'm guessing that getting drunk (oh leave it out, it'll be xmas day) and flying phantom makes for a crazy experience I think y'all should not drink and drive (eliminations via scrapings lol)... have some weed and turn weps off, I mean, stoners aren't very violent are they? lol and it could be a race to see who finishes last - stoners drive kinda slow ...

Back on topic, a couple of things -
- It'd be easier for me if we can start the Pulse earlier than 21:00GMT, as I have things to do afterwards. I guess starting around 19:00 (I can even do a little earlier) would be best for me. Is that cool, or is later better?
- As far as I know, MrPhlanj, trufflefunk and I are the only people on WoZ still playing Pulse online. Does anybody else want to play on 26th? I could maybe get a couple of the gamefaqs guys to join, but it'll be o' clock for them.

Alex, for sure you can jump in sooner, 19h gmt is ok. And yeah If you can make a little announcement on gamefaqs, feel free to do it yes; maybe FBJ or triple lei could join you guys. True Ace, less than 2 weeks now... Need more practice lol. Another fantastic news, JJohnEames just joined the host army! We are now 14 ! (potential & confirmed) hd avalon tagged hosts. What does it mean? pretty simple;

We'll all run, at some point, the no-gun ranking tables in the first post of this thread. I'm saying "at some point" cos' everyone in the host crew is free to mix the modes, & host whatever he wants. From the day I started with these crazy events until today, my only thought was to get all the fans of this game together online, for a big "party time", one time per month. I would say lyrically (I'm high sorry) "avalon is an open door to world of wipeout" ..... err. Gah just got Connor Burns on the phone "Ok now shut up you morron, & go back to training" )...
