My current best is 28.34, 5 BR, 8 sp's, and terrible, terrible racing lines towards the end.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to do a good run later today, but that will probably be my best time for this week's challenge.

When members have been warned for months, both publically and privately to stop being obnoxious to others, but they still keep doing it, it's going to eventually result in their being banned.

And the good stuff they eventually brought to the community don't count at all ?

Of course it counts, but it wasn't enough to counterbalance the bad stuff. The friendly and relaxed vibe that this forum used to have has been destroyed for too long by such behaviour as they exhibited.

Sorry for my little english vocabulary, but I think you shouldn't forget who was at the source of the friendly vibe in this forum.

For me, the most part of last banned members have the real WipEout spirit, as past good times.

It's just my ideas, maybe they are false because I don't understand all the subtleties of the language of Shakespeare, but for me, those who have bad behaviour are some new members who land here, thinking they are better than old members, without respect, without listen to the famous members.

They land, and they ruin the entire hierarchy, existing relationships...

So in reaction, some "good" members could be offensive, but it's normal. In real life, if someone land, without competence, ability, experience, he must adopt its behaviour.

Old members should have some legitimacy, and if they are offensive, in a friendly and relaxed community, there is often a good reason, and the best people to sit that in judgment, they are the pioneers of this forum, because this forum have its history, its past, and nobody should ignore it.

Don't forget what is the WipEout spirit, and for new members, try to get it.

Had a quick go to see what I could do:

22.28 - 11 pads - 2BRs - Triakis+

I can't do the BR after the first drop in the tunnel at this speed. On Venom I can do it consistently and on Flash inconsistently. Other than that I don't see a lot of improvement to be made but we'll see as the week develops.

Edit: looks like the leaderboards aren't updating again...

Triakis below phantom speed is horrible to get used to, i'm gonna go try for another 10 mins

Had my first attempt; 22.77, 12 sp's, 2 BR's, Triakis Fury. The triakis is probably my least used ship, it took a while to get a grip with it... it feels so sluggish! Definitely have room for improvement, I'll see what I can do later.

@ Rezatron: do you mean the very first possible barrel roll, down the first slope? If so, I have no idea of how you can't do it as it's one of the easiest BR's in the game I hope you mean the one at the bottom, it's just you said you've only done 1 BR on that run and there are 2 very easy ones.

23.60 10sp, 3br, non-fury

i could definitely narrow this down... there's a possibility of 5BRs in this track! This is insane, im gonna try to get all 5 in a lap

5 BRs are usefull below rapier ! I made a 21.90 on rapier (fury icaras) with 2 BRs

well it's only 4 practical BRs, one of the 5 was a fluke, and now I can't get the one in the first tunnel that I was doing consistently before.

triakis is a piece of garbage, btw lol

I say icarus...unless it's H-Dicaras because it is cool enough that it warrants being spelled correctly. Fury 'Armadillo from crash bandicoot' Icarus on the other hand, does not deserve such good treatment.

I boost before the start/finish line
BR at top of hill
BR at first right turn in tunnel (if Im lucky)
straight through zigzags
Turbo after second single SP and BR before jump
BR in the air after jump
finish lap apx 23.5

I dont even know how I got the 23.12, it was like a fluke.

Missed the BR in the beginning of the tunnel. but seriously, what am I doing wrong? do I just need to clean up my racing line?
