    yeah I get 3 beeps and a blank screen (long beep followed by two short beeps). Either Display adapter issue or motherboard methinks...

    Gonna try R-studio, apparently it can be used to rebuild RAID arrays...

    Gaz - my Apple did exactly that 2 years back when a ram-module wasn't completely seated in the slot. I lost a 5 dollar bet over it.

    I've also seen that behavior on a Pee Cee - though it was one long continuous beep - immediately at power-on, followed by the screen blacking out.

    Hope you get it fixed either way!

    At least you can afford to fix it now.

    OK - gonna explain all this as best as I can Kigo - I was having a debate/argument with Alex regarding pulse servers going down ok? And you caught it, thus posted in my VMs about why the pulse crew is arguing. Anyway, I wasn't arguing with Arch -he probably didnt know what was going on coz he's at uni...

    ... and probably saw the posts ip in my profile VMs, and Alexs' VMs too - thus causing much confusions. I have edited my VM posts in Alexs' profile to avoid any further craziness/confusion here - bottom line, from my end we're all good and I am sorry if I have caused confusion and animosity between friends.
