all of that stuff sounds pretty good guys

and i know of asimov - he invented the 3 laws didn't he

    GOOD IDEA TOO

i personally quite like philip k dick - do androids dream of electric sheep is an absolutely superb novel, short but so much going on in there, everything a comment on the validity and identity of life, reality, individuality, love, sentience etc.

strangely i've never seen blade runner though

i believe he also wrote the novel total recall was based on

if you're into time travel as an SF device and a platform for things it can be used to represent, such as connection, consequence, fate and chance etc. i recommend audrey niffenegger's time traveler's wife

the movie from others i know who loved the excellent novel who saw it is a massive let down and a naff generic romcom bastardisation of it

but the novel i can assure you is outstanding, a great study of human relationships and the nature of fate and choice

I've never really liked Asimov's sci-fi writing, though when I was a kid I liked his science explanation books for kids.

Ray Bradbury's writing I love whether it's the sci-fi stuff or not. My favourite for the last few years is Dandelion Wine. I suspect it will stay my favourite till I'm dead.

It's a novel, drawing on his own childhood, but modified and fictional.

Smile I'm so proud of my girl!

My GF did a charity run yesterday. She's living with endometriosis, a condition which is quite rare and only affects women. It spreads like cancer, and is fatal if not caught early enough. When she had 'Severe Endometriosis', the consultants all said that her case was the most serious one they'd encountered. We almost lost her last year during an operation. 5 ops in 1year!

But, yeah! I'm really proud of her! She ran 5k in 35mins and 48 seconds, raising £785 for Endometriosis!

wanted to share that wit you

Good on her. It's a hard thing to go through. (Both the condition and the run.) Good luck to her in the future.

That's what it says on my profile here, and I don't lie about my age. Though I'm in year eleven now.

A stupid term the minority dictating ponsy chardonnay sippers in Perth as well as other city's in Aus call for people who enjoy there cars, including car enthusiasts.

Things include, accelerating hard, excessive cornering, burnouts, rollbacks, drifts, speeding, enjoying your youth, test driving a nice car, understanding your cars dynamics, making to most of a good Saturday night, socializing with your mates, cruses.

thats what the stupid hooning term comes from.
