I'm actually going MAD! I was 1 second, no lie, 1 SECOND away from getting to zone 75, when I did a barrell roll. I AM GOING MENTAL!!!! Oh well, try again I suppose.

I got it last week - but was getting about 69-73 Zones for ages beforehand. Just knowing I was so close to the target caused me to lose concentration. If I'd been aiming for Zone 80+ I'd have been able to reach 75 much easier.

Did it for a friend on Wed, and my furthest is 82 on AP forwards. Can't remember what my rank without false records is.

Glad that you made it! And you did it the old-school way -- on Anulpha
Pass! Nice. From your picture I saw that you actually got to zone 76, so you
could enjoy the color scheme of Supersonic for a couple of seconds. Great.

If you can do Zone Zeus on Anulpha Pass then you can do it at Syncopia as
well. Seeing the creme valvet color scheme of Supersonic at Syncopia may
likely push you to zone 100. It's a pure joyride! What you say?

    Bad idea..

do the zone 75 first then work barrel rolls into your game to build the score.

Hey ProblemSolver! She didn't enjoyed Syncopia too much. it looks almost like "Autobahn" lol. But I can press her to give a few tries

Jasmin, I think that the barrel roll was with no intention. It used to happen to me ALOT lol. ITS TERRIBLE!

Think I'm going to go for 80 on Sync today...
The trick is, DON'T PAUSE. You get to Zone 42 and you NEVER PAUSE AGAIN. It just throws you off. I paused at 75 to take a photo of the Supersonic colours, and paid the price on 76. And remember to have at least 90% health going into Mach 1. Dunno how it works on AP, but on Sync that's good

By my experience, Autobahn seems to be the best german word known
    by anyone from abroad. LOL

I agree with ProblemSolver at first I didn't like syncopia but once you get into it it's just insane

Well, the best I've managed to do is about 135,000 points and Zone 57 on Anulpha forward. I've gotten to where I can get past Zone 50 on a regular basis but 57 is the farthest I've managed to get. I've got a ways to go before even thinking about Zone Zeus (current goal is to make it to 60).

Good thing Zone's currently my favorite game mode in HD.

Only this one left, got to 73 on Syncopia today averaging zone 71 on my runs, and decided to call it quits. Only kicker is I have a work-thing tomorrow night so I won't be able to finish it until Wednessday (though pretty sure next session will do it, just need to align my line onto the platforms and I should even be able to enjoy a bit of the ride in super sonic).

Hitting around the early 50's on Syncopia, 20's on the hard tracks like subenco. More practice required.

Finally cracked Zone 60 on Anulpha...but only managed to do it once. Things just start falling apart for me about Zone 45-50...Guess I just need more practice.

    + + =

at some point (Zone 58 or so) you just don't BR on purpose. Trying to steady your ship on synchopia make you BR.

EDIT: Oh and doing BR is great even if you're only training, this way you train the hard way and you make your way up the leaderboards. I like to BR as much as I can on synchyopia, perfect zones are so easy anyway

+1 with the previous statement, each perfect zone will give you 10 shield so if you start doing barrel rolls at the beginning it won't affect you providing you know when you have to stop. Basically that means you shouldn't do a barrel roll if you're not at 100 shield, if you get more experienced you may give this a margin, that margin is the number of shield you'll gain after a lap :
say you need 2 zones to complete the lap, then you can BR if you're at 80% shield, unless you know that you won't be able to do the two perfect zones.

On AP I first did barrel rolls until super zen, now I usually stop doing them at mach1

as for syncopia, I love putting myself to the minimum knowing that I will recover xD, I stop that at subsonic. But it's fun to pull off barrel rolls over zone 75 and still be at 100 shield one lap later ^^
