Hard to get things sorted with team AUS when one member has shot himself in the foot and been suspended for a month and the other major team members sole reply was "OK"

    ****.
My place to use the internet isnt going to be there much longer.

Cant compete anymore. And more annoyingly, my lack of access to this site means even arranging it properly will be difficult. Checking this site once or twice a week at most isnt going to cut it.

Not too sure what to do about this...

I posted a message on the Japanese WipEout BBS. Hopefully it will help.

Why don't you leave it until nearer the time and then see where you stand Haydn. There's a few weeks to go yet. If you can't do it as I said on team englands page I think silverfox is next in line to join up.

Great to hear this is gonna be kicking off this year! COME ON ENGLAND. You lads better make up for our lacklustre football team. I wish there was a good way to film these matches, would love to edit together highlight reels for them.

    Default Score-sheets

I've created some score sheets for the World Cup that people can use to keep track of their scores.

Attached is a zip folder (EDIT: Re-uploaded with fixed small sheet). In this folder is an Excel Workbook, within which are two sheets. There is a large score-sheet and a small score-sheet. The large score sheet can be printed out onto an A4 page and you can use it to write down your own score, and if you have time you can fill in all other scores too.

The smaller sheet is linked to the large sheet and will (fingers crossed) automatically fill itself out. You can then copy and paste the cells into paint. If you only copy the extents of the filled in cells then the sheet that is generated should be within the limits of the forum's rules for images so it can be posted directly into a thread.

An pdf example of the large score sheet can be found here:
    Large Score Sheet Example

The smaller sheet that is generated should look like this:
EDIT: See Team England vs. Team Nordic Results Here

Alternatively you can just fill in the smaller sheet by hand - whatever you find easiest. If you find the font hard to read, then feel free to change it. The font can be downloaded here.

The captains of the two teams should fill out their team's scores and check that they all add up. Then they should liaise with the other team's captain to generate one small score-sheet and post it here. If someone has video or photos of the whole match then they can fill the sheet out themselves, but please double check all scores when you do so.

I hope these are useful to some of you. Whatever method you choose, whether you use these sheets or not, please make sure you all note down your own score and as many of your own team's scores (followed by the other team's scores) as possible in the time between races.

Thanks to leungbok for the icons and Nathan Caldecot for the fonts (used under Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 License.)

So, finally the world cup can be a true sucess! I'm thinking if during a race, the pilots that are the reserves of a team, can compete with the reserves of the other teams... For example during the race Italy vs France, can exist also Italy 2 vs France 2? Sure, this is not going to be official, is not valid for the world cup, and the pilots are always ready to quit the race for the official race, but I think this can be funny

    GROUP B RESULT

    Team England - 321
    Team Nordic - 151

Scoresheet attached containing individual and team results

Videos will be uploaded this week

EDIT - Saturn, I think there's a discrepancy between the small and large results tables you made. Results don't match.

    Congrats to Team England!

Well, Team Nordic was in the lead for a while - until after Vineta K, that is ... Then it was more or less downhill all the way,
Long time since I´ve raced Greenix and Andy. My god, I´ve never been hit so badly w/ a Plasma before, Greenix (from almost full energy ´till sudden death in a split sec.) Jesus ...
Looking forward to the vids, Hellfire - especially Seb Rev (a close finish w/ "The Camera Man" in a perfect position, as far as I remember).
Thanks to all for this opening of The WWC 09.

    See you
