That was outstanding - and I rarely watch those vids. Very good time - BSB free, too.

And - I'm almost positive he had to side-shift in order to get enough air to BR. That's common on Venom and Flash - most of the places you simply pitch up to BR on Rapier and Phantom - you have to get creative to do the same on Flash and Venom.

Sideshifting is the key here.
You must sideshift left to do a BR into the tunnel without using turbo. It also works on other tracks: Sebenco Reverse for example.

That's exactly how I got my first under 20 seconds lap on Modesto Reverse, Pirhapac! Excellent video .

I've been honing the barrel roll after the bridge for the last two days trying to see how much you can stick to the left side of the track without being put back on the track. I also usually end up going too high and getting stuck in the spectator pipes . The competiton with you fast French pilots is very enjoyable!

I also apologise for not sharing my techniques, I don't have a any better than a mobile phone camera to film my TV with at the moment. If I can get a hold of a good camera I'll show you some laps.

Haven't filmed it, but you can do a boost BR before the magstrip and land on it, or even sometimes completely skip the magstrip (Happened to me once.) Don't know if it's faster...

I did that last night. It was totally unplanned. Did seem to gain quite a bit of distance on the other ships that were ahead.
