Anyone fancy a race against myself and hellfire? first race was a barrel of laughs, well up for another one.

i'll whack it up as TBC

HFA Vs. FaD would be awesome

    IDEA
I just had an idea, feel free to shoot it down in flames but it might help to get the ball rolling (as goes teams that haven't played any matches so far) :
how about arranging a 'doubles weekend' during which we could have lots of matches between different teams. not a tournament as such but just arrange a round-robin type affair?
i know that a few pairs will doubtless be unavailable but nevertheless i think it could be good fun.

    any takers?

I think the idea of a doubles weekend would indeed start the fire. I see there are 7 Teams that are still neutral in points. I'm sure setting a date would get things spurred.

I had an other idea that might sound interesting (Idk if its been said already). During or around the time of the WOWC, there can be a doubles "ladder" tournament. You can pick beans out of hat or something to determine which teams race; it would be like the Superbowl less the commercials.

Default Folie Ã* deux split rumours???

I think Folie Ã* deux is going to take a bit of a break to pursue solo projects. Once some other teams have played more matches we'll come back stronger than ever. Either that or we'll be completely out of practice and get our arse and ass kicked by everyone. We shall see. But TCK and I have both mentioned taking a bit of a break from doubles after this weekend just gone. It's healthy for our ("not in that way") relationship

Yeldar often conveniently forgets where ideas came from Not that I'm jealous at the success and praise he gets for this after the few doubles games I tried to set up failed epicly months ago, or anything. (I'm so jealous )

    fair enough mandem

although i was thinking more along the lines of multiple 2v2 races as opposed to 2v2v2v2. that said....i think i feel a MASSIVE event coming on, with BOTH 2v2 and 2v2v2v2

    it will be massive, trust

@saturn: i'm pretty sure i credited you at the very beginning, it was the best/least i could do.
at least the idea has come to fruition and people are enjoying it (at least i hope they are...)
that reminds me; thanks again to everyone for joining in, wouldn't have been possible without you

I know you did from your point of view and mine. I think others missed it though so I was a bit gutted. Anyway, Feisar31 has really made it with the whole ladder thing and rules (which I try to uphold where possible, and when I remember them). So most credit goes to him for that side and to you for the upkeep. But just for the record, I'll always be a little jealous

Nah, I just helped with the beginning stuff; you're the one running the show (and doing a good job of it too).

I like the Doubles weekend idea as well. I have been taking a little break from Wipeout but I'm sure I'll be back for that, whenever that might be.
