@blackwiggle: The color scheme for MACH 1 is a bit special in the way that
I almost always get the feeling on Anulpha Pass that the game stands still or
is running very slowly. xD
The frequency of the popping marks matches a multiple of the refresh rate of
the eye. Sometimes I have to remember myself that I'm in zone 60+ to
not accidentally hit the wall. So I'm quite happy all the time to rapidly pass
through that stage up to SUPERSONIC, which is where I start to feel quite
comfortable. Sorry, guys! It is sick, I know. But it's pure beauty as well!
Running beyond zone 100 with the music turned loud compares to nothing.
And doing perfect laps at zone 100+ really shows that you are there, there in
the ZONE.
