Kaori, do we need to be on each other's friends list to send times and challenges to each other? I wish there was a simple "send to Kaori741" button on Near. I think all I've done is send it around my area, and I'm the only Wipeout fan around, so a lot of good that does.

Hello, if you want receive our near challenges, yes, you need to add us. But the weekly speed lap challenge is open to all, with or without Near's ghost ;)

38.94 is my first attempt for Altima. (not on Near I'll share a faster ghost later I hope :) )

I have been training on it, but I am not capable of getting a time that makes me proud... :-S

Otherwise, I've tried it with other ships and improved it, and now I can't remember the time I did.

I tried also, when I finished training with Ag Systems ship, to create a Near Challenge. I don't know if I did it well. I'd be grateful if you tell me if you can find it or not. Maybe I can find what time I did there.

Hi all, this is my first post but I've been following the forums for a while :)

I did 35.55 but forgot to send it through near, however, it appears on the top 8 (axo_tio_axo)
I was using BADTEST's ghost (btw, leungbok is that you?)

EDIT: 35.52 sent through near. I think I can beat 35.18 but I'm having trouble with the last turn...

You guys are incredible managing to set up world time records not even with the best ship for the course.

I cannot compete with you, though I try :-(... I find impossible in this challenge to go under 36 secs.

I like racing with your ghosts, as I always learn something new. Thanks for that.

Btw... how in hell do you manage to barrel roll at the begining (end) of the course?

After the last turn, there is a kind of hill, you can BR after it or before it.
When you do a BR before this hill and touch its summit, you can do a second barell roll and you land farther (this step isn't necessary but it helped a lot). Then there is the last jump, with more speed with 2 BR, you land farther again, so you cross the line and by raising the nose, you easily can do a BR starting your new lap.
If you failed to do the 1st BR touching the summit, you can raise the nose after the hill doing the BR and land on a speed pad for the last jump. You'll get enough speed to do a BR after crossing the line, but it will be a little more difficult.
