That's an interesting thought. It lends credence perhaps to July 15th release date (seemingly) randomly touted by 1-up. Put XMB friends update in on July 2nd, allow roughly 2 weeks for any serious unseen bugs to arise/be fixed, release WipEoutHD!Studio Liverpool have said it's nearly done a while back - is this the final piece? I was driving to work this morning wondering if it was a HUD re-design causing the hold-up, but then it could be this instead. Fingers crossed, ey?
