Default What happens when all gold medals are won?

I'm wondering if anything happens when all gold medals are won. I'm playing on hard mode.

Sorry but I coudn't find this information anywhere.

    Thanks,

Sadly, nothing. Unless you happen to reach a particular loyalty level with the ship you are using at the same time you win the last gold.

Think how NICE your grid page will look with those gold metals, all neatly arranged in a symmetric pattern

Heh, nothing like a little OCD to help motivate a gamer to finish things up!

I actually tried to complete races in a symmetric way on my first play through pulse

Just think how much more satisfying it is for an OCDer to do it all over again and again after the first completion in order to improve on the times and to feel that sense all over again of everything falling into its proper neat order.

I think this is in fact why I like time trials so much

what about if you complete the grid hard mode and also get full loyalty on all teams?

i'd say the pain of taking all of your least favorite ships all the way requires some compensation for sure.

100-133hrs for 100k on JUST the non download ships?

    I've gone wrong somewhere...
    nope, looks ok to me.

Including the downloads (12 ships including the non dlc ones) the figure jumps to 150-200hrs
I don't know if anything happens. It'll just take a hell of a long time!

Well, if you all like that sort of thing - personal challenge and motivation - then yay for you.

However, since earning loyalty and such is all possible in Racebox as well, I probably will not find myself going into grids again, after having all tracks unlocked that are unlockable in that fashion.
