I tried the texture stuff but that looks... well like ****.
Must admit it looks a bit bland but i also dont want to add too much because i dont want to go away from the original design.
Hmpf i should give up skinning. 8(
well, i think it looks pretty good. perhaps you could add some worn effects the green areas. maybe some lines to make it look like panels.
how many colors do you have left?
This is my first attempt at a skin.
It's based on the "Cocibolca" team that I had created for some WO fanfic

None, i could cut here and there but everything i add that is brighter than that green comes out blue, and everything i add thats darker looks to dark (almost black, pretty ugly).
I tried to add "Kel Solaar" on one of the white areas behind the cockpit but it wont show up, maybe to small so that the editor cant show it.
@Kansas: Looks cool!![]()
How are you guys putting those slick looking 3D panels on your ships?

Don`t be sorry, we all really enjoy your work. They`re amazing! Would you mind telling me what photoshop tool you use to create the lines for the panels? That`s one of the things that really impresses me on your skins.
@Kansas, I really like the colour scheme and details on your Assegai. Definitely a distinctive and cool look for online play.
Photoshop tool? I do it all in MSPaint, literally.
I've put together an example image of how I do panelling:
Hope that helps a bit.
Sometimes I do the panelling with highlights on both sides of the dividing line (eg: In the custom AG-Sys I did for CR4SH3D), depending on what looks best with the colours and the kind of effect you want to get.

You do it in MSPaintHumbling....
I guess it shows that it`s the workman that makes the difference, not his tools
Thanks for the tip, I think I get the idea, and I will try it out on my Goteki.

they look fantastic! i might link to them from the home page too
Gorgeous work, QirexAAX. A lovely collection. I love the chunky feel you've managed to retain from WO3. Really impressive stuff.
Incredible work, Qirexaax! _O_
Absolutely stunning Qirexaax, as always. They would make great wallpapers as well.
//Kansas - nice going dude, looking really good!![]()
Awesome, QirexAAX ! Just as much detail as needed without looking cheap. A worthy addition to the Wipeout legacy…
Thanks for all the comments, folks, much appreciated. Don't know what to work on next... maybe actually play the game.
Thanks for the comments, guys. I'll work on a couple more skins before the game drops in the U.S.
Can't wait to get it![]()
Well, I'm not quite sure how it happened, but it happened...
I was quite happily designing an EG-X craft with which to amaze all onlookers when I accidentaly clicked a link and went back to the wipeout-game.com homepage (much to my dismay!). Expecting I had lost all my work I clicked back and when the painter tool opened up again I beheld the most curious of all... glitches, you could say (much to my surprise!).
Check it out for yourself: My E-Goteki-X:
Anyone else experienced this?
