Cheers Emwu and Frances_Penfold for the Rapier races and Tourney last night. I still need a load more practice to break out of that online Flash comfort zone.
Can't believe I managed to go from 1st to 3rd on that forth race of the tournament just as we all seemed to cross the line to finish. (Well that's how it looked on my PSP, I know latency can make the game look different to each of us). Its a shame the tournaments don't display the times everyone records as well as the race points scored.
I look forward to the next online session...
If the fourth race you describe is the one I remember (Metropia White maybe?) I got a turbo pickup on the home stretch and boosted at the last moment-- you and Emwu and I were in a tight pack and it was unclear what position I received until the score board went up. It was definitely a photo-finish. I agree that it is unfortunately that times are not displayed in tournament races because it would help with interpreting results in a close race!
