to Paris Hair from me, crazy and amazing art design, perhaps the best of the Omegas for this. I love the idea of the stars on the track surface, and the audio is great, especially the mocking laughter. In terms of track design it`s brilliant too - if it was a city centre track it would be the the track Citta Nuova should have been, if that wasn`t such a disaster. Paris Hair has really interesting corners - particularly the gutsy tight one before the jump that requires you to time it as close as you dare, and the first two long left handers that are quite deceptive, in that you have to hit the apex very deep, and are very similar to the long left at the bottom of the hill on Modesto.

anyway enough about that, I brought out the Burgertown ship for my run on this challenge and my times are:

    Turboweevil: 1.58.23/28.58

I'm agree with you. Paris is an undervalued track.Just one week ago I hate this track like many others, but forced to race it by the challenge, I'd learn to love it. There are several tails of track that are hard to race. First the central boostpad after the startline combined with the left bend and the consequential boost before the little hill. This is one of the key-moment. I race this tail of track in several various ways: I think there isn't the right way.
curved strictly on the right or large on the left with the "S" curve like in CittÃ* Nuova. I know that the more difficult part of this track is after jumpline

    A question to AZAY:

How do you race your record TT with Triakis on Paris? Any BR? How? Where?

    Hi everyone

Nicola i am racing Paris with 2BR the 1st one near the start, top of the hill, and 2nd at the jump , using turbo right after the split ( going on the right side ). I am not particularly convinced by my technique on Paris as a matter of fact i saw you did an impressive triakis laptime : congrats mate : did you do something different?

Sorry not being present here for giving my score but here's my duty atm :

    Ag SYS
    30.04 - 29.73 - 29.35 - 29.48 = 1.58.60
    28.68

Bloody hell i must admit you kick my arse for only 1 hundredth , that's not nice , you will pay for this in MArch at Dam's convention

Yes, Arnaud, I pay attention to do not the BR on the first little hill, I think this isn't a good BR for the laptime, then I give the turbo on the last rectilinear tail of the track before last grat hill.
You always run great TT!!! Yes, I "kicked your arse" but with great difficult.
    I love BL.
    See you at Dam's convention

Good racing on Paris Hair, guys! I did not come close to the fight, but I'm happy for the progress I had during my second session.

I know there have been discussions concerning processor speeds, but I did not find an answer (quick enough) to the following: What restriction, if any, is there on processor speed?

    Happy climbing!

I believe we have an unofficial gentleman`s agreement that it`s ok to compete for times at 266mhz, because this is a speed provided in an official Sony firmware upgrade (firmware 3.0 and higher), but 333mhz times should not be entered. This is entirely unofficial though. None of us in this challenge were racing on higher than 266.

btw congrats to the Mad-man for a really clean TT.

Here's a tip in case of ... i get the turbo weapon after the long descending straight line, more exactly when the track starts goes up on that right bend : get a BR into the air and you can land near the mini jump after the chicanes.
You should also multi-tap on nose down, this is a good thing to avoid the extreme floatiness of that track.

    Nose-down, 333, what are these?

Ok, I know what's a nose-down while racing, but I've not the ability to do it.

    But, 333?

    Are there someone cracking PSP?

About Sebenco: this is not a friendly track with me, BL 28.23 goteki

I think it`s more useful than ever to have a ship with good acceleration on this track, for picking up out of all those slow corners. But I think Goteki is just too floaty, meaning it gets too much height, and too unstable to be totally effective on Sebenco Climb, unless you can use it to get the BR at the top of the big downhill. But maybe the other ships can do this too. G45 is probably the second fastest ship on a lot of tracks, but I think the more stable AGS and Assegai ships could be a better choice than G45 here, but I could be wrong. And then Goteki has a lot of BRs in the tank.... hmmm. I`m not going to race with the Weevil - he only comes out for Omega tracks.

    AAAARGHHHHH

...it's much time I don't upgrade my psp, I'm still at 2.80 or similar, it's from 266 that we have more speed...or what?

Is there someone can teach me?

Don`t expect amazing things when you upgrade to 3.0X. The only tracks I`m fairly sure are faster on 3.0X are Sagarmatha and Manor Top, which always had a bad framerate and were stuttery. On these I beat my old vector and venom ghosts easily, without playing particularly well. My ship was just faster on 3.01/266. I got a 20.8 phantom lap of Sagarmatha, with a wall hit and a couple of missed speed pads!

But I haven`t seen any difference on other tracks, though I haven`t played my usual amount since upgrading. On most tracks, easily the majority of them, I`m sure there is really no measurable difference in TT. But you might as well upgrade and see what you think.
