This does not look convincing enough to be authentic.
Honestly getting tired of all the "reboot" nonsense, it's just another way to completely destroy what made a franchise great. As for the case of WipEout Merge, I can quote Vito Corleone with "Look how they massacred my boy".
When it comes to video game reboots, take Forza Motorsport for example, with Forza Motorsport (2023) being considered a buggy and messed up release, to the point where Turn Ten are doing damage control with it.
If they'll really do a new WipEout from... dare I say it (since Forza is making it very old already)... the ground up, maybe at least pick up after the FX350/400 Leagues.
