Why was the forum down?

Because the host performed an automated upgrade to a version of PHP that this version of vBulletin didn't like.

Is there any chance user registrations might be reinstated at some point? I know the forum's a little quiet, but a few people in the Reddit/Discord communities have indicated interest in joining - I think people miss the forum, to be honest. Neither Reddit or Discord quite have the same sense of community.

I've reactivated registrations but the forum is behaving in strange ways. It even locked me out earlier so I don't have much confidence in it.

Experiencing similar issues, depending on which browser I choose. Any chance this forum/server is in for an upgrade eventually? Chances are slim, aren't they?
