It's the 3rd time I've bought Shadow of the Colossus, and this new version is much much better than the previous versions.
Even though it's not a HDR remake, I've found that if I have both my PS4 Pro set to 'auto select' for when it detects 4k HDR games, and my TV the same, it sends a signal to my new TV that makes it up-scale the image to 4k.....don't know if this works with standard PS4, it might.

What in the previous two versions of this game have been pretty much a muted monotone colour scheme, now shows a lot more never before seen colours, which is good because I always found that monotone made the game seem a bit too desolate and depressing after a while, the added gradients in the lighting is much appreciated as well.
This is especially noticeable when going through the forested sections, and with the small waves near the cave of the 2nd colossi....great stuff.

Only thing I wish they fixed was the camera, it can still be very annoying at times.
