I've just got back from work and see I got a message back from my Omega Pack beta testing mate from the questions asked him last night, he said he couldn't remember that much about HD/FURY/2048 to comment about what's new/ different about the Omega pack, which is sort of the situation I thought he would be in.....BUT, he also said he will tell me anything I want to know about the pack over the weekend, starting from when he finishes work tonight, SO hopefully I can get pretty much all the info about the game that is up until now, not known.
He said he never played the games much online either [no surprise there], so I might ask him to send me screen shots of the online board, 2048 HUD and anything else you guys & girls want me to ask him about the game.
Personally I want him to find out if Online in game chat is working / available or removed, and if the online player identity tags over the craft are working as well, which were both working for the first few days of HD back in 2008, but died in the butt shortly afterwards.
I also want to know if HD/FURY is still playable in 3D, it works on the PS3, but it's pushing the PS3 to the max, on the PS4 it should be a lot better, that's if it's still a option.
I guess I should also ask if any air brake sensitivity changes made in HD/FURY carry across to 2048, which might or might not be the case, as what works for the HD/FURY craft might not work for the 2048 craft, this will also have a effect with online play if the games are loaded from the same lobby and one minute you are playing HD/FURY games, then the host changes to 2048...do air brake changes change automatically with game change, the big unknown?
Any other specifics you lot want to know about the game, just post your questions and I'll ask if I think he will know the answer [remember, he's not a wipeout tragic like we are]
Actually, I'm sending him a huge request list questionnaire via the Playstation Forum PM system, saves a whole load of annoying PSN messages.
I asked him to print out the PM, it has all the track /weapon/ modes/ craft/ lists for each game for him to easily cross reference to, anything missing/ gone from the old will be immediately obvious to him....likewise anything NEW.
