Born on December 16th, 2193 in the old city of Chieti, Italy, Sofia Rossetti was an individual who had a love for dancing, specifically ballet taking classes moving to Rome when she was a child. Living with her parents and baby brother, her father was always away from home, going on far business trips around Europe while being taken care of by her mother over the years. Getting into performing arts when she became a preteen, Sofia became a star performer from her junior dance school, performing at plays & theatres around the Roman city making lead roles or groups following her graduation from a performing institute. Though still schooling herself back home with standard education, she could at least find a performing career for a theatre somewhere in the city, only to receive an exciting invite from the AG-race commission’s performing branch to become an official Anti-Gravity Queen junior performer for race events in Makana. Unfortunately, despite given a robot guardian if she were to stay on the island by herself, there was one possible setback that could bring her back home sooner than later. Running in her mother’s side of the family, there was a recessive disease that her mother was currently having in her lungs. Being able to treat it with nanobot prescriptions, it was only a matter of time till it moderately spreads in her mother’s body and preventing her from moving around, needing assistance. Because her father was always away, Sofia would have to be the one to assist her mother instead. She was still able to travel to Makana on her own in 2205 during the FX350 Racing League.

Given an AI guardian as expected to guide her around after landing in Modesto Heights, Sofia headed for the Anti-Gravity Museum close to the city’s track for a free registration. Not familiar with the teams of the AGRL, she chose AG-Systems for their colors alone, receiving her performing suit at the Pilot’s Lounge. Staying around the area along with the young performers to learn techniques at a dancing studio, her class would get a surprise visit from the young AG-Queen founder herself, Mariana Sinclair. The students took turns learning from the master, only for Mariana to have an impression by the Italian dancer and wanted to spend time with her after the class. The two would form a close friendly relationship overtime, until Sofia was invited to visit Mariana’s personal gym at her family’s home in Vineta K for private sessions. From there, Sofia learned the best techniques and built her endurance to perform at shows during the 2206 race season, including duets with Mariana on most occasions. As a result, Sofia grew popular gaining recognition from her best friend, until eventually doing her first solo performance at the end of the season and getting sponsored as a rising star AG-Queen for AG-Systems. She was set to take the same path as FEISAR’s Mariana to perform in the new FX400 season in 2207. Unfortunately, as Sofia was entering her prime dancing/touring with her team around the world, she would get a call from her family back home.

Just 3 months into the New Year and just finishing another duet with Mariana, a call came to Sofia after coming back to her suite in Anulpha Pass. She knew who it possibly was as she answered using the hologram feature. A person appeared showing to be her father, telling Sofia that her mother's disease had fully developed and was now taken to a hospital. Sofia's father wanted her to come back home, possibly not continuing for the 2208 season. Saying goodbye to Mariana, she left the island heading back home, only to keep in contact with her best friend despite not talking to each other years later. At some point in 2212, despite the medical treatments that had aided Sofia's mother at her home, she fell into a deep coma by her illnesses and was sent back to the emergency room. Sadly, Sofia’s mother passes from her deep sleep, keeping her ashes in an urn while moving with her father to Sicily in 2213, living near Moa Therma. The local track made her look back at her old AG-Queen suit and hologram photos of Mariana, only for her father to see how much she missed her career and apologizing for not being home most of the time. To make it up to his daughter, he promised her of taking her back to Makana to sign herself again. By mid 2214, Sofia was once again left on her own while landing on the island at age 20. However, while getting into a cab to the AG-museum to register, she had a change of mind and instead asked to be dropped off at the Makanian AG-Academy. Sofia wanted to become an AG-Pilot.

Sofia’s reasons of becoming a pilot would go back to a conversation with Mariana back in 2208. Mariana thought of pursuing a career as an AG-pilot for her father, only for Sofia to see her succeed when she saw her raced at Moa Therma with HER father and little brother as spectators. Arriving at the academy, there was one pilot she knew that could possibly train her. Going into AG-Systems’ side of the facility, she finds the pilot she met in 2207, Katsu Sasaki, where she became a VIP to walk in the team hangers given to her by this Japanese veteran. Katsu was involved in the academy as a volunteer instructor; while he had the experience to train Sofia when she registered as a new pilot, he would unfortunately become busy with other trainees and instead had his new secondary/assistant to teach her, Sean Cooper. Despite Sean having a nervous greeting talking to a past AG-Queen wanting to become a pilot, he was able to show and instruct Sofia through the passing months starting from Zone Mode till eventually getting behind the stick of the AGS-500 training craft. In less than a year, including showing her skills to the team principals visiting the Japanese HQ, she was officially selected to compete for the inaugural FX500 Racing League as a rookie pilot in 2215.

Sofia eventually met Mariana again during a night out with her squad at a Joy noodles joint in Vineta K. There she would also meet Mariana’s lead pilot, Griffin Lang, as well as her ally and current friend from Auricom, Rachel Vega, wanting to sit with them at a table while her teammates sat at a counter. The two were surprised to see each other again for so long while discovering they both became pilots for the AGRL. Immediately, they thought about becoming allies for the new FX500 season, but as Sofia started spending time with Mariana including performing an AG-Queen duet for old time sakes, something was not right about her. Mariana became a little competitive now with Sofia, even at one point taunting her in between a performance which kind of angered and confused her. She couldn't recognize her once best friend anymore, talking about it to Sean who had an interest in her at one point, including Rachel Vega if she ever acted this way to her as well. Talking to Rachel also brought more information about a British Harimau pilot, Loraine Johnson, who use to be Mariana's teammate in the junior division of the FX400 league, including a FEISAR AG-Queen. Oddly enough when Sofia saw Mariana’s race at Moa Therma, Loraine was also a contender alongside her, only to see Mariana racing quite aggressively and becoming hostile to the young British pilot. Rachel didn't know how they started to hate each other which lead Sofia with a mystery to solve by herself, followed by listening to Sean’s story story of how Mariana used him to get ahead in race events. In all, she was not the same person that Sofia once knew after leaving the AGRL.

Sofia’s first appearance as a pilot took place at the Amphiseum during the opening ceremony for the new FX500 season, along with her wingmen, Sean and Katsu. While her two teammates took on events for the North American tour, she officially starts her season back at Makana till eventually entering international events going around Europe. Recognized by her old fans when she was an AG-Queen, she would just be another performer that took the route of racing much like her apparent friend, Mariana. Unfortunately, there friendship will eventually split apart after more issues will occur between the two. Though Sofia was focused on becoming one of the best pilots for AG-Systems, she will never leave as an AG-Queen performing part-time and will regain her popularity on the dancing stage once more. With so much ahead of her at this point, and considering that her mentor is a decorated AG-Systems veteran, one thing is certain is that this small rookie will prove to be a surprising contender, no matter how much opponents will continue to underestimate her.
