    Bio

A calm nature is a rare sight in the world of AG-racing, especially with weapons flying about. The racing world has been dominated by a number of aggressive racers throughout its history; including Omar Kulmala of Tigron Enterprises, Xavier Chaffin – and sometimes Vincent Stephenson – of Triaks, and sometimes Tauban Ferrai and Andrea Santiago of Goteki 45 in Eliminator events. It is not too often where a pilot would remain calm in many races with weapons involved and more often than not most pilots lose their cool nature when it came down to the wire. However, a junior pilot seemed to change that. And while she used weapons on the track, her calm nature never wavered. Hitomi Yamaguchi of Auricom’s junior team, Auricom Academy, was as calm and cool as a cucumber as any AG-pilot could get, and her results in the first season of the JX350 racing league showed that her calm and cool nature was the result of her near unchangeable nature.

Born in the northern and colder part of Japan, Hitomi Yamaguchi grew up in the city of Sapporo, one of the coldest and largest cities of Japan. Hitomi always had a love for the cold, always wanting to go outside and play in the snow. During its history, the city of Sapporo held the Snow Festival every year and Hitomi went to each and every one of them during her childhood. At the same time, AG-technology was booming and the city adopted the use of the technology to get citizens around the city to various landmarks of the city. Thanks to the use of this technology, the city was able to make snow making machines, dozers, and many other snow machines for the winter festivals. Various activates were available in the winter aside from the festival that happens every year, including snowboarding, Hitomi’s favorite activity over the winter during her childhood. She loved snowboarding and the thrill of it, as well as the AG-technology that was used to make man-made snow for freestyle courses and trails. As a result, she was taller than the average girl. She enjoyed the competition between her and some of the fastest snowboarders around Sapporo, mainly consisting of boys and she beat each and every one of them, attracting the attention of the local people. This earned her the nickname ‘The Blizzard Girl’, for her speed through the snow even in harsh winter conditions.

Hitomi was also one of the top students in her schools during her elementary and middle school years, attaining the top honors of her schools, attracting the attention of some of the private academies around Japan. However, one academy got her attention, which was designed to turn students into AG-racers, the Good Smile Racing Academy. Hitomi always had a love for speed and wanted to travel outside of Sapparo to see how the world was like. With her parents’ approval and their recommendation to go to a private academy to further her studies, Hitomi traveled outside of Sapporo for the first time in her life. She was amazed to see the world around her as she traveled to the academy located in Kyoto via air-blimp. Japan was also known for having some of the most advanced technology in their country as well as well as the use of AG-technology seen all over the country as well as some other countries across the globe. She wondered what the other parts of the world were like as she finally arrived at Kyoto. She took an air bus to the academy and found that many different students from across the globe were also here. The academy was designed to be an international school for AG-racing and she would do her best to nab the top honors. Of course, the initial evaluation would say otherwise.

Despite her love for AG-technology, when she took her evaluation, she discovered that each question was extremely tough, forcing her to take her time though each question, and each of them only got harder and a lot more confusing to her as her knowledge on AG-technology was almost next to nothing; she never really got hand-on with them nor wondered how they worked. The questions were university standard, making her wonder if this was high school or not. In the end, she managed to barely pass the evaluation with seventy six percent of the questions correct. She began to wonder if it was even possible to achieve the top honors in a university standard academy, especially when she had competition, including Polina Petrov, the initial top student at the academy. She knew if she was going to pass the next part of the evaluation or even get through the academy with top marks, she needed to make some friends, even though if those friends were from outside the country. Thankfully, she was able to make some friends, who’ll become a big part of her life. When she made her way to the cafeteria for lunch, she met two other girls. Those girls were Mizuki Nakajima and Ayaka Hamasaki, who are from the same country as Hitomi was, only from the south west. Then later on, as Polina was prepared to rob the girls and two other boys of their food, they quickly finished their food before she could get her hands on it thanks to the two boys that caught eye of her. The two boys that were there were Michael Sanderson and Johnathan Hale, two boys who were together for most of their childhood and have become close friends since. She tagged along with them and the other girls as they ended up running into another girl and two more boys that would join them as well. They were Eric Patterson, Alexis Anderson, and Sora Yasashi, two American students and a shy and reserved Japanese student respectively. All eight of them had the same thing in common, to pass the school with at least a passing grade. The second part of the evaluation however, would be their life-changing moment.

During the second evaluation, a power outage occurred due to a natural lightning bolt hitting the school. As Hitomi and the friends that she made started their second evaluation which was a zone simulation, their minds were locked into the virtual world. Shortly after, the power returned to the school and the simulation was still going, eventually coming to an end. The eight were then sent to the infirmary of the school and their health was miraculously normal, though there were other things that have changed about them. When the doctors checked their vitals, they noted that the eight students’ bio readings were completely off the charts. As the doctors tried to find an explanation for the sudden change to the kids’ bio readings, no doctor as of late has come to a conclusion, though some are suggesting that the simulator when the power went out had something to do with it. Shortly after, Hitomi and the others were a lot smarter and stronger, not to mention how much stamina and dexterity they gained from that one event. She and the others were given weekly medical checks to ensure that their health remained normal, aside from the ‘changes’ that they received. Most doctors said some sort of ‘miracle’ happened to the eight and that they were gifted with something. This has gone unexplained as of late.

For the entirety of her time at the Good Smile Racing Academy, Hitomi and her friends aced every assignment and exam that were given to them, dominating the school’s academics. They also held the school records of every simulated race and Zone simulations the school set up, making them one the students to beat in races at the time. This would soon get the attention of the two team principles that partnered with the academy. On the other hand, Tokyo would sometimes have snowfall during winter break and Hitomi would always be seen outside on the academy’s housing grounds, sometimes in a kimono. She would also be alongside with her boyfriend she made while at the academy, Johnathan Hale.

The team principles, Sakura Tanaku of AG-Systems and Jessie Fairbank of Auricom, first came to the school for the very first opening ceremony when GSRA opened up. Months later, they returned to find some interesting kids that have been creating a lot of buzz. The principles have admitted that this was going to be another academy for AG-racing. But as it turned out, the school has made some interesting results, particularly the top eight students and two others that were doing well interested them. The team heads that visited the academy on the first day of school came over just a month before the semester ended to pick out the students for their junior racing teams. As Sakura Tanaku of AG-Systems chose Michael Sanderson, Mizuki Nakajima, Alexis Anderson, Sora Akiyama, and Jessica Caluroso, Jessie Fairbank of Auricom chose Johnathan Hale, Hitomi Yamaguchi, Eric Patterson, Ayaka Hamasaki, and Setsuko Tanaka for her junior racing team, Auricom Academy. When the 2214 school semester came to an end, Hitomi graduated from GSRA with the top honors and marks in the academy along with her friends. Soon after, she was sent to the United States to further her training in Auricom Academy with Johnathan Hale and the others. This would be her first time that she traveled outside Japan and to another country.

When Hitomi arrived at the US, she took note of the AG-technology that was used by the Americans. Much like the citizens back in her hometown, the citizens in the US have adapted the use of the technology, the main example were the construction cranes and haulers that were used to help reconstruct various cities that were affected by seismic activity back in the late 21st century, particularly Spilskinanke, a F5000 race track located in San Francisco which was decommissioned once the city was rebuilt. When she arrived at the academy located in Tule Desert of Nevada, she, along with Johnathan, Eric, Ayaka, and Setsuko was given a tour of the academy by Jessie Fairbank. A day later, she underwent training on using the Auricom ships and knowing the rules and regulations of the junior league that was coming up. It was Hitomi’s first time that she would be using a ship rather than the hover-board that Michael Sanderson of AG-Systems gave to her. The ships however, were heavier than Hitomi anticipated, which was proving difficult for her to maneuver around the test track. Conversely, Ayaka just happened to be more than smart enough to make some adjustments to the ACK-8M; sacrificing speed and shielding to make it more maneuverable. Soon the ship fit Hitomi so much that she moved the ship as if she was riding her hover-board and snowboarding back at her home country, Sapporo. She soon became quicker than anyone else in Auricom Academy and began to astonish the trainees at the academy with lap times at the test tracks including the Belmondo Test Site along with Johnathan, Eric, Ayaka, and Setsuko. This also caught the attention of the professional racing team of Auricom and the pilots wanted to see what she was capable of. Her performance was well noted when the professional team tested her at the Amphiseum as she got really close to the professionals during a test event for who’ll be the lead pilot for the Auricom Academy junior team. While Hitomi was positioned as a wingman, she was a very good one and Auricom would see that as clear as day.

Her calm nature was soon put to the test in her first race of the first season of the JX350 racing league, a Time Trial on the beaches of Vineta K on Makana. She did well over the other competitors, scoring a bronze medal, surprising many racing analysts. She soon followed it up with a silver in a Zone run at Vineta K and a bronze and silver in the Eliminator events at Talon’s Junction. She continued to score silver medals throughout the season until a Detonator event at Modesto Heights, where she scored her very first gold medal of the season. According to her, she enjoys the more technical tracks despite her junior status and she has said that she would like to race on the more technical tracks. She would continue to win silver medals and another bronze medal during the Rapier series.

Despite the number of close races in which she was only inches away from the top only to come up short, Hitomi never seemed to have a problem with it. She has always remained calm in every event she took part in, even in Eliminator events where weapons were flying about. She has said that she enjoys the competition around her and as long as everyone followed the rules and win within them, including weapons use, she was okay with it. Some people were confused if she wasn’t really trying to win or if she was holding herself back, but all she wanted was to have fun and that is what mattered to her the most. After all, she has score a number of podium finishes and never made such a big fuss about it.
Despite her cool nature, she was soon challenged by another pilot for her attention. The challenger was Petia Romanov of Qirex’s junior team, Quantax Dynamics. However, she kept her cool and was able to defeat him time and time again, though he still continued to annoy him. However, her boyfriend, Johnathan Hale, gave her an idea. He took the idea out of Michael Sanderson’s playbook and suggested that she give him a kick between the legs so hard that he wouldn’t bother her or the girls anymore. When Petia got to the point where she was annoyed the most, she took Johnathan’s suggestion and kicked Petia in the family jewels, hard. The other girls, Mizuki, Alexis, and Ayaka soon followed suit with a kick of their own, ending the rivalry between her and the annoying guy. This earned the kids the respect of Andrea Santiago of Goteki’s professional team and has admitted that she would like to see what the girls did more often.

Thanks to her kind nature, Hitomi has made many friends on the paddock. The Makanian Amazons of Goteki’s junior team were some of her friends that she made as they have given her special training to further her skills and her beauty. The MAGEC junior team of Mirage, consisting of Hafiz Nejem and the Raqisas sisters were also some the many friends that she made, sharing race advice and tactics on each race event. She has also made friends with pilots of Piranha’s junior team, Amazon Fury, helping the team with handling some of the tougher tracks using Piranha’s FX350-400 craft, the Rocket Tooth. She has also made friends with Mercutian De Gautet of Van-Uber when he asked for help in Zone events and racing line techniques, which Hitomi was more than happy to help with despite the age gap between them. Outside the junior league she has become one of Buster Harding’s students when it came to training her on various techniques such as martial arts and piloting skill refinement. She also underwent training from Rory Pinewood of Qirex and has tested her under various moments with a lot of pressure on her. He was immediately impressed that she can keep her cool and patience even under the most difficult situations. He sees her as one of Auricom’s finest if she can keep her cool throughout her career. Another friend that Hitomi made was Sekhar Sahib of Harimau International. Sekhar has developed a deep-seated fear of Auricom and has been avoiding them since his elimination by former second pilot Torogu Ukantu, who has since retired from racing. When her friend Alexis Anderson of AG-Systems recommended to see the three girls of Auricom Academy, Hitomi made contact with Sekhar for the first time alongside with Ayaka and Setsuko. He was still a bit frightened at first, but thanks to the kind nature of the girls, he began to talk to them more and more and his fear of Auricom began to dwindle little by little. As of late, he only really made contact with them, but is starting to open up to them often, especially to Johnathan and Eric, who have shown their kind nature to the startled Indian.

Hitomi is also a member of the Miracle Eight, a group consisting of eight attractive kids, including herself. Despite being the least attractive girl when the fans and supporters ran a poll to see who is the most attractive girl, with Mizuki being the most attractive of them all, a lot of the fans and supporters still saw Hitomi as an attractive girl and have even said that she is very polite to everyone she has met. Not once she has said anything rude or even lose her cool in high pressure situations. She is a girl who always had a smile on her face and many race fans have taken notice of it.

Things seemed to change for the worse when Polina Petrov of Tigron arrived on the racing scene during the Rapier series. However, Hitomi never lost her cool even when Polina eliminated half the grid during the race of infamy at Metropia Reverse. Instead, she made moves to help the others and was able to help the others navigate their way through the air traffic to get the injured pilots to the Kyoto Hospital. It was thanks to her and her friends that they were able to save the injured pilots when the rescue shuttles were disabled. Joes Peeters of the professional Assegai racing team and chief medic pilot for the junior racing league thanked Hitomi and the others for saving the injured at a critical time. However, things only got worse.

With Polina causing a lot more damage, the danger of people getting hurt skyrocketed. Hitomi knew that Polina would target her friends and herself, but she never knew that she would as far as targeting everyone just to get to her, including spectators. Polina then soon turned her attention to Hitomi and called her a ‘dishonorable girl’. Polina was now using misinformation to anger her and make her lose her cool, but Hitomi kept herself in check. She would only use her aggression on the track. While Polina was still able to score wins in Eliminator, Hitomi teamed up with Mizuki of AG-Systems to slow Polina down and keep her away from the top spot, until something happened that would turn the tide against the Tigron pilot.

During the Rapier series tournament, Michael and Johnathan used their plasma bolt and rockets to damage Polina’s ship. When they landed a successful hit on her ship, the ship revealed a cracked that Hitomi was quick to spot a crack in the ship’s armor plating, which was located near the ship’s engine core, with a direct line of sight to the core and fuel system itself. The crack was so small that it was unnoticeable, almost. Now that Hitomi was able to find out that the ship had a weakness, she can use it to take Polina, Tigron, and the BSV out of the picture. Hitomi reported her findings to her friends and, after inviting them, the other junior members of their respective teams during the Phantom Series. The crack wasn’t noticeable at first, but after investigating themselves, the other junior members began to work with her and her friends of the Miracle Eight on destroying the ship.

While she was working to destroy the ship, Hitomi also enjoyed massive popularity as a member of the Miracle Eight when the series came to the Amphesium and many fans have asked her for autographs and photos of her. Her polite nature have made her popular amongst the racing fans, particularly the younger and older fans. She has also helped them in various situations and offered them as much advice on their situations. Many people have noted her kindness and have asked her for help when they needed it. The race soon moved to Tech De Ra and when the Phantom Series tournament came about, she worked with Mizuki to damage Tigron’s ship for Michael Sanderson of AG-Systems to land the final blow during the last race. Tigron was finally out of the race, and out for the remainder of the season, a good sign for things to come, at least for now. It wasn’t long before the BSV made their move in response to the destruction of the Bull ship and many death threats were soon sent out to many of the junior pilots, including her. She then got together with her friends and the other junior pilots and reported this to Krystian Atkinson and the race commission. Before long, Polina, Tigron, and the BSV were soon banned from the AG-racing sport and Tigron and the BSV were later dismantled. Hitomi sighed relief with them and Polina gone and many fellow junior pilots and professional pilots including Pinewood and Harding, and Harimau team principle Manjula Vamatharen congratulated her for ridding the world of Tigron. She went on to compete in the season finale tournament of the first JX350 season.

While Hitomi didn’t win a whole lot of gold medals this season, she has become a very popular pilot thanks to her calm, cool, and friendly nature and has made many friends and fans across the globe. With the next season of the JX350 in the works, with the races going to more technical tracks across Makana, Hitomi is looking forward to doing well next season. Many race analysts have gone on saying that she and her friends of the Miracle Eight can match or even surpass Kel Solaar, the greatest AG-pilot of all time, if they continue to race and step up to the professional leagues. Hitomi is looking forward to doing just that and she plans to help her team and her friends take the next JX350 season.
