Born on April 30th, 2171 in Toowooomba, Queensland, Australia, Gareth Ardos grew up as a gamer. He found joy in playing a variety of games, such as action, adventure, platforming and racing games. But his favourite game series of all time was an AG racing simulator, where he poured hours upon hours into, eventually investing money into a racing wheel setup.
Since the AG racing simulator was his all time favourite game, Gareth decided to apply to race for a junior racing team, UQAGD (University of Queensland Anti-Gravity Development), in the FX150 Amateur League in 2188. It just so happened that the racing team he applied for was sponsored by the then known Katana Advancements, which also supplied parts to the racing team. Due to Gareth's gaming skills and his simulator experience, he was surprisingly good at racing in a real AG craft.
After the moderate success the team had with Gareth until the end of the FX150 in 2196, Katana founder Brandon Smith approached him a year later in 2198, asking him to join his new upcoming professional racing team. Gareth initially denied this offer, but returned in 2200, claiming that "turning down the Angelus project deal was the single biggest mistake in my life".
Since Angelus' debut to professional AG racing in 2209, Gareth participated in the FX400 alongside Tarah Andrews until the end of the FX400 in 2210. He will continue to race in the inaugural F12000 season in 2212, this time racing alongside the mysterious new pilot, Kyoko Fujisaki, who has replaced Tarah Andrews, the previous lead pilot.
