1.39.11 btw, ranking site not up to date. Sub 1.38.00 possible so it should be quite easy. Good luck.

Some I can't update because of the rankings bot, and some I don't remember off the top of my head because PS3 is not with me.
As I said I can't remember some of the exact times (0.00.0x <- that number), but I will tell people if they get within 0.1s.
...but if someone beat one of my Phantom TT I might start playing again so be warned

Are there better sites than Youtube to upload videos? I record at 720p with 60 FPS. Youtube downverts to 24 FPS which basically ruins the game. It does this to save space, but the stupid thing somehow manages to make the files bigger than when I uploaded them! It more than halves the quality while adding 50-100 extra megs!

Viemo's EULA prevents uploading footage of videogames so that's out of the question..

you'll want to convert the video files to the .H264 container using the mpeg1 codec, imo it's the best quality to size ratio
and it works fine with youtube as well

Cipher: I use H.264 with an MP4 container, x264 encoder. It is by far the best encoder available today for high-motion videos. I'm able to get output that's almost identical to input, even at 60 FPS, with a considerable reduction in size compared to other codecs that cut the framerate in half.

Regardless though, the problem isn't the filesize but the fact YouTube converts my videos upon receiving them. The output always comes out around 24 FPS, and unless you're watching at 60 FPS Zone mode just looks like a mess. It really makes a big difference. It just so happens that, in the process, YouTube defeats its own purpose by making the videos not only look worse, but have a larger filesize.

Plan B, I'll just torrent my replay. It seems like it's the only way to get things across the way I want to. Hopefully everyone has a client! If not already obvious by the context of this post, the replay's of me playing Zone through Moa Therma.

EDIT: Okay, apparently people don't know how to do this. KAY! Listen up!

"Torrenting" is basically cutting a large file up into small pieces and then sending them out to numerous people. The idea is that the original creator can upload a single piece to many people, and that those people can then trade the pieces amongst themselves until they each have the completed file. This improves download rates for everyone and removes the requirement for the original uploader to have infinite bandwidth, or to even stay as part of the "swarm".

To begin, you must have a client. There's a link to "Deluge" above (click the word "Client"). Install it like you would any other program. Once it's installed, download the attached .torrent file (well, .torrent.zip since the forum is picky. Extract it from the .zip first.) and then click "Add Torrent" in Deluge. Find it, add it, say a place for it to download, done.

Now, there is one very important thing I need you guys to do so I don't pull my hair out: Once it's finished, keep Deluge running and do not move the file you've downloaded to a new folder! This will allow you to upload your own pieces and help new users download the file sooner, while also keeping me online. (I don't have unlimited upload bandwidth!) It'd help if you wrote a note to yourself to start it up every time Windows starts as well.

To prevent yourself from lagging (Deluge uses all available upload bandwidth by default), you can head over to http://www.speedtest.net/ . Run the test (wait for it to load, then hit "BEGIN TEST". Don't click an advertisement by mistake! If you download an .exe from speedtest.net, you are doing something wrong and should start over.) and look at the value it gives you for your upload. If it reads close to 2.00 or anywhere above that, subtract .4 and remember that number. If it's below, cut the number in half and remember that instead. After that, multiply the number you've got by 1,024. Next, go into Deluge, hold ctrl and hit P. Click "Bandwidth" in the window that comes up and type the number you got into "Maximum Upload Speed" (should be the bottom box). That should get rid of most lag, though in some extreme cases you may still need to exit Deluge to clear it up.

Finally, I should mention that this is legal, though generally torrenting is used for illegal purposes. The act of torrenting its self is always legal, but typically the content isn't. In this case however, the content is also legal, so we're all good. Don't panic if you Google "torrent" and get a ton of scary stuff. As long as you use common sense (or stick to only downloading stuff you find on this forum), you're probably never going to do anything illegal. (If it helps, think of torrenting as if it were a gun. It's legal to own one. Downloading illegal content is like murdering people with that gun, but you're not doing that in this case; you're just shooting paper targets down at a shooting range.)

EDIT2: Kay! Kay! Awesome! Turns out Daily Motion allows people to download exactly what you uploaded, without any conversions applied. This seems easier than trying to get everyone on the same page, so! With that, here is a link of a tournament I ran today and here is the video above. Just scroll down and you'll see a section titled "Available encoding formats". Click "Download" next to "source" and enjoy! (You may want to hit ctrl S and let it fully save, then play it with your local media player rather than in-frame in a browser.)

EDIT3: So only I can see the links. Bummer. Oh well, at least I uploaded them somewhere easier to poke. ...Man, this post got big fast. And messy.

or you could simply upload it to mediafire in a rar? (rar should prevent mediafire from compressing it)
anyways, i'll torrent it when i get back from classes

you sure you're video isn't being interlaced?, cuz youtube doesn't like interlacing
but i'll take a look at it later today and give it an upload to youtube if you allow me to (unlisted ofc)
