Yes! Just beat Zico this evening. I was determined to do it tonight after so many failed attempts. I did about 60 laps earlier tonight, getting down to 30.91. Had a break for a couple of hours, then tried again and got 30.80 on lap 2 . Mad thing is it didn't feel like that good a lap either. Anyway I'm so glad to have it out of the way, and very proud to have such a difficult Platinum.

finally got it last night feels so good to have that huge weight off my shoulders lol

and man, zico wasn't even that hard =/ well, once you know the barrel rolls it really is pretty simple... find out how to gain on your ghost, and pwn that mofo repeatedly..

just dont ask me to do it again

but zone zeus... dear god that took forever... i was shaking on zone 74 so hard... once i heard the trophy click, i still had a ton of health but i jus through the damn controller on the table, flipped off my tv n walked away fist pumping..

a game hasn't made me feel so proud since i was a kid =x

Finally. Last trophy I got was Deadly Momentum which I had somehow forgotten about, I thought I only had AG Assasin and Arcade Perfect to go!

damm it took a long time. first time that i did the campange, I did most races on novice, just to get all the skins. And after that I just loved to play zone mode.

I've finally platinumed it!!!

Got home this evening and beat Zone Zeus on 2nd try

Took a few hours total. Beat Zico I did ages ago, so can't really tell how difficult it would be now, but Arcade Perfect was a pain in the ass to do properly.

But worth it since I can now race all tracks properly online

I tried the airbrake only trophy a while back, got to zone 35...
And Beat Zico is proving a real bitch too, not to mention I haven't even attempted the Racebox Elite Phantom trophy etc etc...

Never say never. Once you've done most of them and only have a handful left it will nag at you until you just HAVE to do them. More importantly as you play other aspects of the game, your overall level will improve significantly, and the trophies will become easier.

I think the Airbraker trophy is Zone 50. As with Zone Zeus, head straight to Syncopia. After a bit of practice it's a fairly easy trophy to get, not much harder than doing it normally to be honest.

Beat Zico was the one that I struggled with, but now that I've done it once I've found it easy to beat. Got down to 30.44 yesterday and will aim to get a sub-30 time soon. Need to nail a couple of the more advanced BRs first though.

Use side shifts instead of steering to shave vital seconds off your beat zico time.
It's actually possible [very hard to do, but it has been proven] to beat zico just by using side shifts and not doing any barrel rolls.

Well the thing is I was going to put it on here sooner but I could'nt remember the date I did it. I was also to lazy to check also

I had to keep chipping away at it. I was loosing so much sleep at night, Being troubled by not beating Zico!
