Someone's put up Wipeout 3 Special Edition for one lucky UK resident. I bidded on it up to £10 but whoever's bidding for it already set a higher price than that. i'd go to £20+ but i have no money right now so if anyone else wants to have a bid, feel free! Ends 11th Feb!

The twin pack of Destruction Derby 2 and WO3:SE is also quite available on ebay. Not collector worthy, but the game is what really counts!

I remember paying roughly around £15 quid for WOSE of Ebay. This is a killer purchase and if you don't have it then get it!

Lol, I just bought the WO3SE & DD2 double pack for 7 quid inc. postage on amazon... New! Bargain!

My old collector WO3SE got lost... I still have the case though

Well maybe not for an hour but it's great to own it - for me it's better than 2097/XL due to analogue control and with upscaling set on it's sooo playable on my ps3...

I agree with all the members above, Wipeout 3 Special Edition is one of the most rare & collectable games of the series.

I am also looking forward on testing it upscaled on my PS3, too! Cheers

Not worth it. The first game offer (9 GBP Used) has (quote):
"Comments: Case scuffed and has broken hinge, disc has slight mark but plays fine."
That means it isn't in good condition. I was lucky enough to get it in great condition for 12,5 GBP, delivered to my door.

The second one is the combo version, together with the Destruction Derby 2. (Quote):"Comments: BRAND NEW FACTORY SEALED! COMES WITH BONUS GAME 'DESTRUCTION DERBY 2".
Not collectable and easily found (and much cheaper) on eBay.

Some say the Game (WipEout 3 - Special Edition) doesn't have many differences with the Normal Edition. Not quite true, the few extras are in favor of the Special Edition.

Also, tested it on my PS3 Slim. It is upscaled beautifully, and DualShock 3 compartible, as well.

Hi I have the original Wipeout 3 and it doesnt work on the PS3 ( it crashes when you start cross the staring line for a race) . Could someone test it out and tell me if Wipeout 3 special edition runs fine on the PS3 ?

Ah thats really good, I might buy it next time I get a bit of money, the normal Wipeout 3s great but every time I want to play it I have to fish out the PS2 which is a bit of a pain due to the fact I can save( and I have to go fishing )
