This YT video is about a new musical instrument from japan...hilarious!

It is not a fun video primarily, but the look of this "instrument" and its "sound" is so crazy...I´d say it´s unintentionally funny!?

It looks like CLANK's head, from Ratchet & Clank games
I think it's made up of a small wah-wah pedal in the head, with just a slide pitch controller from a syth on the neck, running general midi sounds.
Pretty cute, but I can imagine it becoming rather annoying pretty quickly.

@blackwiggle: I think the "WahWah" like effect is the consequence of the opened/closed mouth, there´s no real envelope filter in it...that would have been too expensive.
@Nutcase: Pretty cool! It´s just a fun instrument, but I think I´ll like it!

EDIT: Well, I couldn´t resist, so I bought one at Amazon today; I´ll see how annoying it really is.

LOL excellent. make Zone band

basically the speaker is in the head and squeezing the cheeks causes increases the volume as the mouth opens. its a pretty neat design really using the rubber head to manipulate the stylophone neck

also has 3 err "octave" settings

if you really try hard you could make a tune, so far all ive got is greensleeves and smoke on the water haha
