Bad news about Raagentreg - his PS3 appears to have died as well.
Also it hasn't YLOD'd, and I know the exact problem, so it shouldn't take as long, the Blu-Ray disk drive that spins the disk has burnt out/broken/lost connection to the rest of the electronics, so there isn't too much to look for.
