I actually agree with akira, but he could've chosen his words more carefully. Rather than being so blunt you could've just said you think a system without seeded players would've been more fun and I agree with that.

And I'm sure you'll understand not everyone can be a seeded player, I know for a fact you're a great pilot (I raced you a few days ago I believe?). So no hard feelings man.

That was totally disrespectful regarding the guys in the list, and as DD777 pointed out, regarding the entire line up. You come from nowhere and you're saying that HERE. This behaviour totally pissed me off when I woke up this morning. Such disrespect toward people who litterally INCARNATED the game for 2 years now. You seem to have no idea of what these people are representing for the game & the community. Just keep in mind that every shortcut, every boost spot, every single good line is a little thanks to them. Did you miss the wipeout video thread or?
And last but not least. FYI, I'm playing online only when I'm drunk & high. Even if I'm respecting multiplayer 8 pilots cambodia races, I focused myself on the offline competition for a long time ago now. So tbh, I REALLY DON'T GIVE A **** about the result of the race, as it's just to share some good fun/rockets in the ass online. You want to play me fully powered? Just ask for it on the 1vs1 thread. Or ask to kgb if you can enter the UK line up for the upcoming UK/FR team meeting.

You clearly asked for an airstrike here. Seriously, who showed up first. And wtf with the FA cup? Am I a football team all by myself (or the other pilots), or did I miss something? Is wipeout about team or individual competition? Do you believe there will be a Federer/Nadal opposition first round next Wimbledon tournament? Can I ask for a wild card then? As R3BU5ER said, I you feel better now, I'm happy for you. But don't ask me if I'm happy now myself, no I'm ****ing pissed off by your behaviour because it's the kind of behaviour I have to face at my job, with the huge difference I'm paid for that. I can't tell you the entire world of wipeout story because I'm not paid for that. And I only know a little part of it, as I arrived here during the post pure, pulse era. You clearly missed way too much episodes. So I can only encourage you to do some forum search, so you could understand a little better this mysterious seeded player list/conspiracy theory you can't bear and you're able to beat anyway, at least for half of them if I recall correctly.

There no need for all that Kanar man. I understand that you've put a lot of
time and effort into this and I respect you for that, so your opintion does
mean something to me. Everyones entitaled to have an opinion and I've
voiced mine. You think it's funny, big deal.

Who said anything about being football team all by themselves? I'm talking
about the way the cup is setup, the draw, I'm not sure if your deliberately
trying to make me look foolish or you missunderstood. Basically I think having
a seed list is sh*t because it almost guarantees a big name orgasmic climax,
(and I didn't think that that was what this cup was about, my mistake?) you
think it's great. You think giving EVERYONE a random chance is sh*t, I think
it's great. I wouldn't have had a list.

The problem with having a list is that it divides people and this happens. Now
I'm insulted because I think I'm better than half of them, they're insulted
because I said that. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks they're
better than half the people on it, but it's a hard thing to put together. Arsed.

And the only reason I said I wouldn't post here again was because I didn't
want the thread to get to far off track and for this to happen.

Bottom line is that the setup isn't "shaping up" in any way other than how it was set out at the beginning. The Avalon Cup was posted right at the start as an example. That tournament was billed from the start as the Wimbledon of WipEout. It had seeds. I didn't see any strong objection to that. I did, however, see strong objection to one of the biggest names going out first round. None of that is opinion or preference, it's just fact. It was plain and clear to everyone IMO, so if anyone doesn't like the format then they should simply get over it this time around and learn to look into things a little more before accepting next time around.

So let's all move on from this now.

I think arikil should chill.if he is better than half the seeds as he claims that means in a worse case scenario he will win half of hs matches guranteed.
also i can ubderstand kanar point of view.he has bent over backwards for the last 6 weeks aranging something fantastif and at the 11h hour someone pops up whining about how this comp has been arranged.
personally i dont want a lucky did comp where it could be possible for a crap player to win.i want to see a real champion.if you even chance competition i suggest national lottery instead.
the seeds that were chosen are players from the history of wohd.for there legendary playing skills during there active period.im sure every seed will show us top level play during the comp.
I think we shoudl all help make this competition as fun as possible and stop splitting hairs and busting kanars balls..remember he does this out of lve for wohd its not a paid job
