Avalon: Ascension (Lurifax Memorial Races) (Oct 22, 23, 24)

In Honour to LurifaxFlux, a much loved and respected member of this community, I declare this Avalon Race series to be dedicated to Marcus Jannes

I don't think I need to ask for people to host - the amount of support that Luri's got on this thread makes me sure that this Avalon will have plenty of visitors, even if it's just to pay their respects. I won't say this will be the best Avalon ever - with such a dark cloud and an empty space in the chat thread it'll never be true - but we can make Lurifax proud to see us all flying for him.

Luri was known for his Zone prowess, so as well as typical events, there will be Zone Battle series to go through as well.

Avalon Competitions (Phantom Class)

Classic Race - 5 laps - 2 races per track - 1 with weapons, 1 without - Pilot Assist off - Barrel Roll on

Endurance Race (Weapons On or Off) - 20 laps - 1 race per track - Pilot Assist Off - Barrel Roll On

Green Race - Classic Race, but you are only allowed to use Turbo, Autopilot and Shield - everything else must be absorbed

Zone Battle - Max Target is 40 on all Non-Pure 4 Tracks, Target 55 on all Pure-4 and Anulpha Pass Tracks

Luri's Favorite Zone Track was Syncopia, and his favourite ships were AG-Systems and FEISAR. Therefore, if you are competing at Syncopia in any event, out of respect, please use an AG-S or a FEISAR of any type.

his fav ships when we raced together was AG-Systems and lately Feisar(we had decided to use our Feisar's in double's league but sadly that will never happen...)
his fav tracks were Anulpha Pass, Chenghou Project and Metropia Reverse.

Don't worry, there will be available races all day.
I remember on last Avalon we had some fantastic races early on in the day with DP, Kanar, Leungbok, Chaos, Luna, Xtriko and others pilots!
Just be sure to join avalon lounge or look for games hosted by zoners (Kanar, Dark_Phantom_89, Challenger001, SaturnReturn, Ace3cube, just to name a few...)
