Hmm...sound effects as ringtones... Is there a chance someone has the boost sound from WHD? I reckon it would sound great. Is it even possible to rip sfx from the PS3 game?

I also have Borderlands' Claptrap screaming that he doesn't want to die, always fun in a crowded room.

Just downloaded and watched the recent episode 4 of Top Gear.

Was a good laugh this episode. The Caravan challenge was a good one, Clarkson in that stupid dumb french car Citroen Xsara POS or something. Has similar faulty air suspension to what my car once had lol. Love how the handbrake was removed and the car was pushed off the top of the cliff at the end. This has been quite a good season to watch i gotta say. Looking forward to watching the rest of the episodes for this season.

I always wanted to use the 5 notes the aliens used to communicate in Close Encounters of a 3rd kind as a ringtone.
Well, for when certain people ring it's never been available commercially.
I don't know why, but Steven Spielberg flatly refuses to allow anybody to use it for that, so you have to roll your own.

I didn't really find last weeks Top Gear that good, well, compared to ep 1 with the Robin Reliant's, I think it was the weakest of the 4 eps of season 15 so far, thankfully not quite as bad as some of last years dismal seasons eps.

Any news when the new season 8 "H" of Q.I. starts in the UK?
God I love this show, my favorite by a long way.
I know they finished recording the latest 16 eps a while ago, a bit of a shake up in the guest list this series, Sean lock & David Mitchell, who I find the funniest, both only appear in 3 eps, and Jimmy Carr & Johnny Vegas only once.
Some of the "one off" guests and eps.
    Eddie Izzard ep 1
Daniel Radcliffe [xmas special] ep 14
    Ruby Wax ep 15

New top gear was good, not as ball-tighteningly-funny as ep.1 with the reliant robin

my god i p*ssing myself with laughter!

I love Mr Bean, I still watch it ^_^

Our dishwasher just broke so I'm a bit annoyed atm. These hands weren't made for washing...it's so degrading. I'll get the cleaning lady to do it

The guy at 6:38 reminds me of Stevie from here

    I dont have a dishwasher.

Gaz there is a thing you can buy here to wash your dishes with , i cant post the name of them on this forum since Chris will crack the shiits with me. Quite a funny name. Im not a great fan of washing dishes myself, i find in the summer months the skin around my knuckles crack bad.

i just played some uncharted 2 online earlier and noticed that my ps3 was louder than ever!
never knew the fans can reach this stage
i think uncharted 2 is the most demanding ps3 game so i suppose it's natural all this noise.
i even remember playing it back in january and hearing the ps3 fans working so hard and loud compared to all the other games in which my ps3 slim was quieter than my breathing!

so my advice to anyone who has a fat ps3 with symptoms of overheating is to avoid playing too much u2 during summer or you are risking a ylod...

Funny you should mention that DreamyElf, I remember my fans kicking in a lot when playing both Uncharteds. Someone once said to me the exact same thing about it taking a lot of ps3 power to run it. I wasn't sure if that was right, I guess it must be though now.

@KGB1971: That's true. If a game uses all the SPEs, then the Cell chip will
consume more power (which translates to more radiated heat). Cell has
something implemented called speed-stepping, meaning that if a unit isn't
under load it's frequency will be cut to save power / heat.

Don't be silly, that's not how it works. If she's claiming it is then she's either lying, stupid, mean, attention seeking, or all of the above. Whatever, you're better of without her. Probably the least harsh (to her) option would be that she's confused. If that's the case then you're still better off without her, because she's trying to blame you for her confusion.:-

Well, I don't know how it works. Never had the opportunity to find out. You're probably right, I'm not ever going to see her again, which is probably a good thing.
It is only an assumption because from that I'm responsible what I can tell, I was the last guy she went out with, which is likely, because most of the lads in my year are against her because of what she did to me and she is a racist who lives on the wrong side of blackburn for her, you know?

But yeah, she is all of the above anyway.

When I talk about how it works, I obviously don't mean I know because I'm a lesbian. What I mean is, if she really is into girls, then that doesn't just happen because of one guy. It's not like you turned her off so much she switched sides. I wouldn't switch to coffee because I had one bad cup of tea. Neither would I switch to coffee because I had an awesome cup of tea, but didn't like it, so assumed I wouldn't like any other tea. That make sense? Probably not, and I'm not trying to trivialise things by using a tea example, but you see what I mean - yes, there may well be a moment for some people when they realise, but a change in sexual orientation doesn't just happen overnight. I'd even suggest it's a bit arrogant to think that you could be the reason, but you don't seem arrogant, so I'm guessing it's the opposite reason that makes you think that way.

Is she really a racist or one of those people who is very ignorant, and fails to hide it?
