Yep, I also saw the Camaro the Yanks gave to you Aussies to have the suspension worked on, and other clever bits £40,000 brand new for a muscle car with modern handling is a bloody good price imo - especially compared to the Benz which is almost double that though Hammond claims its twice the car, he would take the camaro anyday - betcha!

Yeah a fair wack of the Chevrolet Camaro comes from the Australian built Holden Commodore. Leave it to the Aussies to make a shiity American car better You drive a VE Commodore with the 6.2Liter V8 in it and you will be extremely surprised how well and balanced it handles, a kid could drive that car like a nut and would still have control over it. I drove one earlier on in the year, was a manual Holden Commodore SS the car just casually overtakes other cars effortlessly on the roads. Real good cars built for the harsh environment here. I loved when Clarkson put the time for the Camaro on the board and the Holden HSV Maloo ute was quicker. lol! I bet the sedan and wagon versions where probably quicker than the Camaro also.

    God knows how it came up, but I was talking with some friends and this question came up;
How did the Minigun get its name? I mean, it's not very 'mini', is it?

    Wikipedia says:

"Specifically, minigun refers to a single weapon, originally produced by General Electric. The "mini" of the name is in comparison to designs that use a similar firing mechanism but larger shells, such as General Electric's earlier 20 mm M61 Vulcan."

So, it's basically smaller than an even larger one...

Then that would make the one on Fallout a little bit ****, although IMO it was anyway.

plus wasnt it called a 'mini gun' because it was originally only mounted on helicopters? technically making one a person would hold to be very mini in comparison

Trying to look back at my posts from around that time and check out why so many people where on around that time, but i kept on getting these bloody error 500 codes.

Well there is this getting built not far from Canary Wharf Ace if you are interested. Something that'll be ready before the 2012 Olympics.

Thinking about Headquarters for the different regional teams(Team France,NAWTY(did I spell it correcty?)),I wonder...is there something similar to the PS3 or PSP in Singapore? And I've been trying to garner support for team Southeast Asia, but I never seem to even get off the ground!

Singapore has bizarre things happening with it's internet I've found, it can be fine, then for no apparent reason it can slow down to dial up speeds.
I used to visit Echo Loft, the Singapore based HiFi forum, but it got beyond a joke trying to post there because of the erratic internet connection, pages would take many minutes to refresh.

As the PSN uses what is basically a torrent service to run games, and the benign military based Singaporean government making known it's disdain of any use of torrents, I think your might have problems if your Singapore based.
It would rather all the pirates stay in the straights of Malacca rather than the streets of Queenstown.

The PStore & PSN is not as global as you might think, it's impossible to purchase anything from the PSstore from quite a few countries, so since HD/FURY is download only, there's no real legitimate way for them to get it, how they get connected to the PSN I don't know, perseverance and a proxy server I suppose.
I see very few South east Asian racers online, maybe less than half a dozen from Malaysia, a few from India, a couple of Srilankans, no Thia's or Vietnamese.
I'm guessing those few that are playing are Europeans working overseas, like Designer79 who was playing from China till the Chinese Government changed something with the internet there, now he has so many problems staying connected he doesn't bother.

Thing is,I AM based in Singapore. In fact,I live here!(check my location).Say,how'd you know there was place called Queenstown?
Regarding a Southeast Asia Team, who are the ones from Malaysia who play the game? I remember meeting a fellow Singaporean who played HD,but I met him only once...

I was having a chat with him about a month ago. Something with the Chinese internet system or infrastructure is not letting him sign into the PSN for some reason.

Maybe the Chinese are afraid that Designer79 might start downloading movies and flood the streets of Shanghai with pirated DVD's.

I can't remember when it says he signed in last, I'll check tomorrow.

I saw that it says you are in Singapore, but when I read this.
QUOTE:I wonder...is there something similar to the PS3 or PSP in Singapore?

I thought maybe not, as if you were living in Singapore you would surely know.
How do I know about Queenstown?
My family used to live in Singapore many many years ago, not in Queenstown itself though.
Singapore is where I first learnt what it was like to really sweat.
I remember getting drenched in the 4 o'clock downpours in monsoon season, trying to sleep with the clacking down of mahjong tiles on metal tables going on till all hours of the morning and picked up my love of Sambal oelek.
My brother was there 2 years ago, he said I wouldn't recognize it as it has change entirely.

    a) "and now for something completely different"
    b) "he's not the messiah he's a very naughty boy!"
    c) "now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!"
    d) "FU*K OFF!......we're the people's front of judea"
or e) "The problem sir is that it's dead"
