you dont need to keep posting proof ace..im sure your really honest anyway..
plus if its your best time (which picture says it is) it will go into leaderboards anyway for all to see![]()

I prefer SL and TT to racing because with TT and SL its all about perfection in races the emphasis on perfection is not as intense its all about dealing with the situation presented in that particular race using your skills and very quick thinking to deal with situations created by other players and also staying focused and not losing it cos you got blown up by your friend cos you were hogging their line..im not playing down racing as its super hard to be good at it..its just a different skill to races than tt and sl..
but saying that i gotta have races every so often cos i do love the competition and seeing how well you perform against your friends and other players..
I have to agree with Yel and jas actually - maybe it's because I'm a bit of a loner myself but I love racing solo. Unlike those two however, I find the best kicks playing Zone. Put on your own music, and start sailing around Syncopia like you would in a bath full of blueberries and cream. :3
In other news - to those who are interested in my writing, I'm thinking of doing a team profile for EG-X for the site, with a new one up each week depending on what ship it is for the time trial. Good idea or no?
Great idea! Pre-Fury EG-X were my favourite team. Fury ruined them completely, both in looks and drivability
Zone ftw btw, love it
/offtopic
fantmusik - 34.06 - 11 Pads - 1 BR
yeldar2097 - 32.80 - 12 Pads - 1BR
No idea where Shape found the other 0.6s o_O
the world record for talon fwd on venom is like 30 seconds by itallian gamer in a assegai its like 2 seconds in front of yeldar i dont understand how that is possible is he just absaloutly fantastic player is it some type of computer error or glitch.
is their some big shortcut on this lap thats secret..
32.96 fury 13 speedpads 2brs (including boostbr into lap)
don't know what the hate for this track is all about, great for non weapon races. and good practice for racing lines, I see it as a tight basic f1000 track.
Scratching my head on how to improve lines by .80 btw I managed to dolphin br in two other locations than up hill.
One at the first straight as u come out of tunnel landing on the double brs. Best time I got this way 33.53 9 speedpads plus room for improvement![]()
The other is as you approach the chicane keep to rhs and updownbr over the rhcurve. Very similar too moa therma same technique and flow not done a decent lap with 2nd only done once

I just turned of my PS3 so I can't check but the WR is 32.20 by Shapealot as yeldar just mentioned above your post jasmin... ignore the in game boards and use Connavar's Ranking site to view unglitched records tables.
This seems to be my strongest track (both directions). I think it has something to do with it being heavily dependent on good old fashion racing lines with no tricky BRs to exploit(well, except the boost BR on speed laps...)
I'll give it go later but I doubt i'll be improving upon my 32.67 Icaras time.
Probably a solid Boost BR start combined with Icaras and many a lap. I find the biggest key to a great lap here is where and how you land off the boost after the loop.
32.77 - 13SP - 2BR - Fury
For some reason I can now do the boost BR at the start 100% of the time. Maybe it's easier to do with this ship compared to the Icaras, I dunno.![]()

i dont have a problem with racing alone, i'm used to it but i dont like SL as much as i do like TT and Zone...
i find SL a little boring imo, no offence.
TT on the other hand you have to be good for 3-5 laps consistenly so you have some kind of 'pressure' and no mistake factor compared to SL.
Zone is another dimension, by FAR my fav mode. nothing better, absolutely thrilling experience! it's like flying to space!^^
i'll give this challenge a go later but i'm rubbish so don't expect anything special!
also the fact that TJ is by far my worst track doesn't help, i really HATE this track!
why Studio Liverpool put TJ instead of blue ridge or another of pure's awesome tracks is beyond me...
mind that i don't have anything against fury tracks as i love modesto heights F, amphiseum and Tech De Ra F!
Edit: i forgot to mention that i prefer racing online with friends more than anything else
jasmin, i'm still waiting for a race...whenever you like feel free to send an invite!![]()

32.80 without the boostBR at the start is pretty impressive, using the EG-X especially
I may have a go of this, try find some place to get an extra BR as I don't think I'll beat my 32.54 Icaras time...
Sometimes you even need to bend the rules/track (or miss the track entirely) to get a good time. Like in The Matrix
Any tips for the boostBR at the beginning?
Lol yeye, yes in that case TTs are harder than speedlaps to succeed 5 times those ridiculous glitches !
I was talking about legit times off course !
About the boost BR at the begining, i think it's a bit easier if you start from the very right side of the track. (i show it at 1.50 on phantom class, it's easier on slower speeds http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nf3_N7sdX9o )

I find it's easier to pull off if you boost a little before the start line. It's not as fast as doing it at the last possible point, but it gains an extra .1 or so.
Last time I did the track, I lost my ability to do it properly after doing it like 40 laps in a row, and could only manage it every 1 in 6 laps for the rest of the session... maybe I'm not the best to get advice from![]()
Yep just stay on far right when u boostbr and should be sweet it's easier in egx. U know the double br on anulpha pass reverse last corner the wall hop thing I think it's possible on tj at top of magstrip. I managed a double but went flying off track after lol
It's boring, deceptively hard, not that great for practising lines and the speedpads are invisible. End of.
You want lines, go to MetroF or MoaR. Sol's good too. Those are what I used to get back up to speed after a break.
Update: 32.67
Its not "end of" though really is it?half the track from after the loop to the end of the lap is very good for learning racing lines, and cant get quicker through brs as it isnt a br fest like most tracks. Hence why its deceptively hard.
totally agree with the annoying invisible speed pads though.
