Ok gang.. just for future reference, I want to mention something, because it's happening more often as more people add me...
If you posted ahead of time here, and scheduled a time for Bling Brigade, and I said I'd be there, then I'll do my best to be there. I spent time with SaladEyes trying to get his group together at a scheduled time, and we were there over an hour, and it was no big thing because he posted in advance and I had planned my time for that.
If you choose to yank a bunch of people together at last minute, without advance notice, just because you happen to be playing at that moment, and I'm NOT playing Wipeout HD, please have a little consideration.
If you have 7 people together, and ask me to join, and I say yes, then you need to give me a couple of minutes to finish what I'm doing at least.
Today I was playing Red Dead Redemption with my girlfriend, and started getting invites when there were not enough people to get the trophy. When there were enough people, I was in a town, and you can't just save and leave in that game, you can only do it in certain places. So I had to take a couple of minutes to get to where I needed to be to help someone out with their Bling Brigade Trophy.
It takes a couple of minutes to get out of one game and load up wipeout HD.
The BEST thing to do, if you want assistance with this trophy is post in ADVANCE (maybe a week in advance) of when you want to try it to give people time to read about the proposed time and make plans to be there. (Not everyone checks the board every day).
Then, if I say I'll try to be there, I will. If you try to yank me (or others) out of another game, without any prior scheduled time, you're likely going to face failure. Honestly (many of you can attest) I do my best to try to help out.
Many people get their trophy then never help others again. I try to help, all I ask is for a little consideration regarding my personal time. I do have family and friends I also play with.
Thanks!
