Boy this is an old thread, funny though, I haven't played wipeout for about 8 weeks so I decided to give myself a bit of a test out today to see just how rusty I'd become, I did the last 8 race Campaign toury against the elite, I got eliminated out of two events but still came second overall, not bad for a warm up.
But Phantom/ Chenghou reverse race against the elite had me very nearly in controller tossing mode.
I forgot just how badly the elite AI can cheat , it showed up badly on that track.
