    Look at this; http://www.d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y.com.

We have something similar for the german language; http://www.seitseid.de
(seit - since, seid - [you] are). Some people can't differentiate (t/d), but some
people do intentionally write the given words wrong to force someone to refer to
http://www.seitseid.de. In some german forums a lot of things are written
wrong intentionally to 'annoy' the public. For example, an extreme case is
    given in the following quote;
yo keine anunk was man hir so schreiben also schreibe ich ersmal
    blog

    ps: *namezensiert*is homoseksuell
pps: harbe ich aus verlesslicher kwuelle gehört !
(Uhh, you can't read german? Too bad.)

Well, virtually every second word is wrong xD, but one can understand just
    everything. It's funny.

    Edit: For those who understand german, more fun over here;

But that is the question and point, isn't it. <question mark intentionally not used] In my experience of English language errors in spelling and grammar, these errors are nearly always a result of unintended mistakes, either through ignorance of the correct form or by typographical errors left in place through laziness in proofreading and correction. I comment on such errors rarely, partly because some of the people who make these mistakes are friends whose virtues much outweigh such weaknesses. Such errors are so common that pointing out the mistakes would absorb more time than I have to give relative to the value of doing it. Sometimes I will note such errors when they're made by people who seem to lack the ability to self-criticise, in another word, egoists.

I do like precision and accuracy in the use of language because that avoids misunderstandings, conveys clearly what it actually meant, avoids damaging mistakes, whether in pharmaceutical usage or diplomacy, or in any of many areas of human interaction with other humans or dangerous devices. Accuracy of language use is too often considered entirely unimportant just because in some unimportant situations, it makes little difference, but in many cases, accuracy is highly important, sometimes to the point of life-or-death. In this case in this thread, in that post, it didn't make a damned bit of difference except to make a little gadfly bite in someone's ego. We can all profit occasionally from those little bites to our own sense of ourselves. I've certainly benefitted from some of those, gotten a blessed touch of humility.

Same over here. But it really depends on the subject. Accuracy increases /
decreases with the subject covered. However, any non-technical language
suffers from a lack of uniqueness. Some phrases depend on a context
like nothing else. You can go wrong even with the right spelling and / or
grammar in place. Despite I like accuracy in any form, I think that a perfect
grammar / spelling isn't the most important thing, the context is. Things
are totally different for technical languages, of course.

Cool. Does anyone know what compression level photo mode uses when saving JPEGs? It's hard to tell whether a lower quality image is due to JPEG artifacts, horizontal resolution dropping, or both.

Edit: I just saw your post in the bug thread, PS. You're right there has to be a better compression level, preferably lossless.

Pretty certain that shortcut is not possible on CP. It will just transport you back on the track, like how it would on Sol 2.

Good Moa pic. For some reason I never stopped to photograph the loop on a reverse course, so it looks nice and different to me.

@Koleax: Seem like the compression level is about 85% (100% = no compression).
I think it was done that way so that you could send taken images via an PM over
the PSN, which had a 1MB size limitation for an attachement. The current limit
is about 4MB. Personally, I wanna have an 1:1 framebuffer grab.

Another cool thing would be if we were able to assign a button as a snapshot
button to quickly take images during a race without interrupting it. Pretty cool
for online races! It wouldn't take much to implement it, but it might
be a bit more difficult to prevent the game from shuttering during the grab.

@kaori: The compression level of your images do hurt my eyes.

Interesting, though I wonder how many people actually share Wipeout HD photos over PSN!

Even better would be a replay feature. In Forza Motorspot 2 you can go through a replay of your entire race frame by frame and move the camera around at any angle, zoom, effects, everything. You can even do this with replays downloaded from the leaderboards.

If SL is going to continue in its design philosophy of complexity and detail, I hope they'll at least have a save replay feature in the next game so that you can actually have the leisure to enjoy all that detail.

I've had quite a few HD photos over PSN. Nice pictures are always gratefully received...hint hint.

A reply feature would be great. It would certainly be good for uploading videos of online tournaments to capture more of the action, rather than just one person's POV. It would be a lot less costly too, as those of us who are keen wouldn't have to purchase cameras or PVRs just to achieve the results we want.

    Hahaha.

BTW, if any of you did not realize, you can get rid of that damage/speed-blur bordering the image by doing 1% Depth of Field or other photo effect that will otherwise have a negligible effect on the image.
