I know, guys - but the bitch that's been doing it has hell to pay tomorrow. At least I hope she has. Thing is, 3/4 of the year hates her (That's what she says, it's actually more like 8/10's) and if the **** hits the fan, she'll need all the friends she can get... and her 'friends' are just like her - backstabbing you-know-whats.

Only, like, 5000 times Unfortunately my current laptop isn't quite up for the job and as soon as I get the first wave of immigrants it slows down to a crawl - even on a 4x4 map.

Recently,I ran into problems with Windows 7,so I retrieved Windows Vista.Wanted to experience the setup of Vista and wait for things to go up to speed.

It's small netbook with Win XP and no graphics card to speak of. DF is quite CPU intensive and the small Atom 280 in my laptop just isn't made for it.

@omega - That's a fine looking place you got there. I tend to build too small and cramped at the beginning, making it a PITA to construct proper access and defences later on. Hum... I think my coming christmas vacation will be a fine opportunity to strike the earth once more!
