im not 100% certain what methods faster. the ones ive been trying are -
- Use the boost as easrly as possible so you have minimum air-time at the top of the hill. The boost away feels sluggish at times but its easy to keep good lines.
- wait till your going up for the final br, well not including the final corner, pitch down, turn right, and boost as low to the ground as you can round the corner but with a br. (same style of thinking as using the boost while dropping off the bridge on chenghou). Hard to stay tight to the corner, but i seem to make up huge amounts of ground on my ghost if pulled off well... shame the rest of the laps never as fast.
- some other method - i tried boosting inbetween the gaps on the bridge, or into the little walls to ping myself over at speed. If the tunnel was just a bit shorter it could be effective but im not certain theres much scope for this at Flash, the jumps more useful on phantom.
Other than that im stumped, i think the tricks more to do with pitching down as you clip the walls for a br, and keeping your racing line tight to the left of the bridge as you nail them. You dont need to hit them so straight-on if you pitch down, and it keeps the craft very straight and level while mid-air. Im roughly 8 tenths slower than yeldar despite only 5 brs, a big wobble on the bridge, and popping much further into the air on the final bridge br than id have liked. Whichever method of boosting you use, as long as your not "hanging" in the air i imagine it wont make as much of a difference as your racing lines over the bridge.
You cant br on the 1st corner correct? I didnt even bother trying, i cant stand speed lap on tracks with a ridulous first corner youd just NEVER boost before.
