    A music player where you can choose moods, and it plays it for you... And that should be a hit? A 6.10 (or whatever) highlight? NICE! I had that highlight a few years back with some homebrew app.

    Just one thing. If Sony did some "not useless" stuff (and so far they didn't ) more people would actually use that fw. For now, that fw is a really, really weak software system with almost zero possibilities. They (the brand) should respect the Playstation Portable gadget a little more by putting out some nice applications, or fw, which could actually do some things like (example) letting you read your pdf book while listening to your mp3 collection. Is it an impossible task? Yeah right!
    What's with dumping your UMDs? Can't they do a code where it'd dump you your UMD for backup purposes and at the same time put some codes on the dump file so the file can be used on your system ONLY? It is very possible. Look at the LICENSE folder of Wipeout Pulse. You can't share that file (I mean, you can, but it won't make you run the DLC).

    There's also a thousands and thousands of tips further that should be done. And btw, I got all of these features I just pointed out on my fw. I'm pretty satisfied.

    I love the Crankiness - I feel the same man. The idea about reading PDF documents (or books ) whilst listening to your MP3 collection is an excellent idea - if the PSP had this feature, it would surely be a piece of hardware that would travel with me ... everywhere. And yeah Arch - too right about the UMD Dump to Memory feature - why, and I do mean WHY - have they not included this feature in the last 3 updates to my PSP ??? ever since I heard that PSP are planning to sell exclusively via PSN store, I expected this feature to be a part of the new updates. ...meh.

    Heh, OFW - the meh.

    Ace: @ mp3+pdf: Well, you can have this feature with other firmwares. It's an obsolete news. ^^

    They did a 6.10 Cranky Croac mood only for me, so if I switch and download ofw, I'll have it, but ONLY me!

    It doesnt work in Cranky Croak mode, it just crashes and reads "refer to cfw manual" then restarts - displaying a dos based OS, and the words "Cranky Error - press F2 to enter BIOS" then stays like that for 9 seconds before it reboots to a "safe" profile for all Cranky Croacs...

    ...I think

    If you are bipolar - I guess it'll tell you to take your meds (CFW is apparently soooooo amazing, it can cook your meals, call your GF, and write an essay on Magnetic Levitation - all from just one installataion. Downside - GF has better conversations with CFW than with the BF ) - (Shame it doesnt vibrate)

    Hahaha, yes, and we will only be able to read the book, without music playback. Like I said somewhere, we'll have this feature in a few years!

    You are suffering because of wanting to stay true to Sony, or what?

    Checked out Sony Central yesterday. Had a look and a use of the PSP-Go for the first time. Damn the system is tiny. The size of it is much smaller than the x000's series PSP's. The Go has a good ergonomically located DPAD, but the nub is bloody useless, it is located too far away from DPAD, rendering it ****ing useless, shame tbh, because i play Pure, Pulse, Gran Turismo and Ridge Racer games with the nub. Maybe a future cosmetic change on the unit could save that problem. The Go is a small practical good little unit. If i had one, i would be using it as an MP3 player in my pocket more than anything else. But that $449 AUD price tag is too high. and 16gb isnt enough, it needs to be at least 32gb +.

    The GO! is too expensive man!

    PSP-Go = £220
    Xbox360 = £169 ... I'd take the xbox360 anyday!
